Titled “The Gilded Age,” Alice + Olivia’s Fall 2026 collection has no trace of quiet luxury. It’s all about grandeur, legacy, and drama.
Alice + Olivia’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection sweeps you into a world of opulence and aristocratic glamour. Feminine, theatrical, and unapologetically lavish, the collection feels less like a New York Fashion Week presentation and more like a scene lifted from the glittering ballrooms of hit period dramas The Gilded Age, Bridgerton, or Downton Abbey.
Crafted under the direction of the house’s founder and creative director Stacey Bendet, the collection, titled “The Gilded Age,” has no trace of quiet luxury. It is all about grandeur, legacy, and drama that is intentional.
It was presented on February 14 at the The Surrogate’s Court in New York City, which was intricately decorated to exude a larger-than-life grandiose vibe. The collection’s title was emblazoned in gold on the cover of Mark Twain’s novel that the Alice + Olivia blew up to eight feet tall.

Oversized pearls the size of beach balls were draped along the staircase, while bite-sized desserts circulated through the crowd of attending media and esteemed guests on ornate silver platters. An instrumental rendition of Royals by Lorde played over loud speakers to enhance the affair’s extravagance.
Alice + Olivia’s choice of The Surrogate’s Court as the show’s venue was not random, but an intentional one. “Once known as the Hall of records, an architectural landmark constructed during the [Gilded Age] is transformed into a larger-than-life cinematic journey through 19th-century opulence and innovation,” the label wrote in a press release.

Everything at the show was glamour at its finest—an apt interpretation of this period of success, development, and aristocratic glamour in American history. “The Gilded Age was an era of beautiful dressing and also a time of extremes in terms of wealth and industrial development. It feels relevant now,” Bendet wrote in a statement. “The idea is to take the Victorian elements — opulent embroideries, lace, tapestries and silks—and make them modern.”

The collection centered on long velvet coats, Brocade capes, Rococo-era corseting, and crystal-encrusted gowns, which the designer describes as the “most exquisite” they have ever made since the house’s inception in 2002. While each piece exuded maximalist luxury, it was thoughtfully crafted for the modern woman who moves with intention and shapes her own path.

The corsetry didn’t confine—it empowered. The embellishment wasn’t overdone—it made a statement. All the sequins, beaded patterns, and lace overlays proved that abundance is authority. Immersed in deep jewel tones like emerald, ruby, sapphire, and black, the collection vividly conveys that the Alice + Olivia woman holds space. She has always been an epitome of control, elegance, and timeless dominance.
