From goddess gowns to low-rise denim, the actress is having fun with maternity fashion.
Anne Hathaway is promoting five movies, expecting her third child, and somehow finding the energy to deliver one memorable outfit after another.
Since announcing her pregnancy in June, the 43-year-old actress has treated maternity dressing as a chance to experiment. She has worn gowns that frame her bump, crop tops that show it off, and trousers that still look ready for the front row.

Working with longtime stylist Erin Walsh, Hathaway has built a wardrobe that feels glamorous without slipping into the usual idea of “pregnancy fashion.” Here are the looks keeping her very busy baby bump on the best-dressed list.
A red jumpsuit she accidentally wore backwards

Hathaway started The Odyssey press tour in New York wearing a bright red jumpsuit from Ashlyn’s Spring 2026 collection. The look featured a low neckline, a flared waist, and relaxed trousers gathered at the ankles. She completed the head-to-toe red moment with Aquazzura heels, Bulgari jewelry, and matching toenails.
Later, Hathaway revealed that she had (kind of) accidentally worn the jumpsuit backwards. But honestly, queen Annie nailed it!
A Blumarine minidress fit for a Greek goddess

At The Odyssey photocall in London, Hathaway leaned into the movie’s mythological setting with a white Blumarine minidress. Its halter neckline, cascading ruffles, and shredded train gave the look plenty of movement. Tan suede Gianvito Rossi boots kept it from feeling too formal, while her loose waves added to the relaxed goddess mood.
Periwinkle Dior for the London premiere

Hathaway brought a quieter kind of drama to the London premiere in a custom Dior Haute Couture gown by Jonathan Anderson.
The strapless periwinkle dress draped around her bump rather than hid it. Diamond earrings and a strong red lip gave the pastel color a sharper finish.
Hathaway reportedly spotted the gown months before the premiere and asked Dior to hold it for her, knowing it would work later in her pregnancy. Consider that next-level outfit planning.
Celestial Prada in Paris

For a Paris photocall, Hathaway wore a midnight-blue Prada column dress under a sheer halter overlay.
The top layer featured crystals, beads, and comet-like embroidery that made the whole outfit look like a night sky. The straight silhouette kept everything sleek while the transparent fabric floated over her bump.
If The Odyssey needed a maternity-wear constellation, this was it.
Leather and sheer fabric at the Paris premiere
Hathaway changed direction for the movie’s Paris premiere in custom Louis Vuitton.

The gown combined a structured chocolate-brown leather bodice with a sheer pleated skirt. It was darker and moodier than her London looks, but the flowing fabric still connected it to the Greek-inspired wardrobe she wore throughout the tour. Bump-friendly does not always have to mean soft and sweet. Sometimes it can involve leather.
Crystal-covered Prada in New York

At The Odyssey premiere in New York, Hathaway put her bump front and center in another custom Prada creation. The gown paired a crystal-covered halter bodice with an ivory pleated skirt. An elegant updo, smoky eye, and sparkling Bulgari earrings finished the look.
A marigold Lela Rose column dress

For a New York press appearance, Hathaway wore a marigold velvet dress by Lela Rose. The column silhouette followed the shape of her body without looking restrictive. Gold Bulgari jewelry picked up the warm color of the fabric, giving the look an easy regal finish.

Draped Alaïa for daytime television

Hathaway arrived at The View in a deep blue Alaïa jersey dress that wrapped softly around her bump. The stretchy draped fabric also looked comfortable enough for a full day of interviews, which might be the real luxury here.
A fringed crop top and low-rise trousers

Later that day, Hathaway visited Andy Cohen Live in an ivory halter top with fringe that nearly reached the floor. She wore it with low-rise pleated trousers, leaving her bump completely visible between the two pieces. Long waves and stacks of gold bracelets made the look feel playful and slightly bohemian.
A crop top, jeans, and a dramatic train

For the premiere of The End of Oak Street, Hathaway gave blue jeans the full red carpet treatment. She wore a custom Atelier Prabal Gurung halter top in icy blue silk. The cropped piece extended into a floor-length train with a flash of red underneath. Walsh paired it with wide-leg La Ligne jeans featuring an adjustable drawstring waist, plus pink Aquazzura heels and Bulgari jewelry.
After people online began speculating about her exposed belly, Hathaway posted a behind-the-scenes video captioned, “Fake hair, real bump.” Case closed.
A black Lein set that showed everything off

For an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Hathaway wore a custom black two-piece set by Lein. The outfit featured low-rise trousers and a ruffled sleeveless top fastened at the bust. Its open front placed her bare bump at the center of the look.
Stella McCartney with a side of strawberries

While promoting The End of Oak Street, Hathaway mixed a white mesh T-shirt with a striped Stella McCartney skirt. She finished the outfit with a small Prada bag and Aquazzura mules decorated with strawberry details.
Monique Lhuillier for her Disney Legends honor
Hathaway brought a Filipino connection to her maternity style when she wore Monique Lhuillier to the 2026 Disney Legends ceremony. The Filipino-American designer’s ivory crepe gown featured a watercolor floral print, short sleeves, and an A-line shape.
The occasion celebrated her Disney career, which began with The Princess Diaries in 2001.
Her off-duty outfits deserve attention too
Hathaway has kept the experimentation going between premieres. She has worn a navy knit blazer over a black crop top and wide trousers, an all-white satin tank with matching palazzo pants, and colorful drawstring trousers with mesh Mary Jane flats.

The pieces are roomy, adjustable, and comfortable, but they still look intentional. That might be the easiest part of her wardrobe to copy. Good separates, relaxed proportions, and shoes you can actually walk in.
Hathaway’s style run comes during one of the busiest years of her career.
She played a pop star in Mother Mary, returned as Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada 2, and took on the role of Penelope in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. She followed those projects with the science-fiction film The End of Oak Street and will appear alongside Dakota Johnson in the thriller Verity.
Her baby has not arrived yet, but its press-tour wardrobe is already better than ours.
