More than a sweet indulgence, chocolate is a symbol of craftsmanship, comfort, and celebration.

Newport World Resorts joins the global celebration of World Chocolate Day on July 7 with an irresistible spread of creations across its signature hotels and cafés.

More than a sweet indulgence, chocolate is a symbol of craftsmanship, comfort, and celebration. This year, rediscover its magic through thoughtfully made desserts and drinks, each one offering a reason to savor the moment or simply give in to craving.

A chocolate renaissance comes alive at Hotel Okura Manila, where the Yawaragi Pastry Boutique unveils a decadent collaboration with homegrown chocolatier Theo and Philo. The collection includes the richly layered Coco-Cacao Cheesecake, available in whole and mini sizes, alongside a flaky Choco Pili Croissant and a soft Milk Chocolate Ensaymada—each treat enriched with local cacao’s bold character. The Coffee Barako Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar delivers a more grounded flavor, blending roasted coffee and dark chocolate in a single, satisfying bite. These limited-time offerings, priced from P210, are available from July 7 to 31.

Yawaragi complements the celebration with the Blueberry Dark Chocolate Latte, a seasonal drink inspired by summer in Japan. Combining dark chocolate with blueberry, citrus, and hibiscus, the drink balances richness with bright summery notes. It is served until August 31 starting at P350.

At Sheraton Manila Hotel, mornings start on a nostalgic note with Tsokolate de Batirol, a rich, traditional Filipino hot chocolate brewed from local tablea. Served warm from a dedicated batirol station, the drink is part of S Kitchen’s breakfast buffet, available daily from 6:30 to 10:30 AM. Enjoy it alongside a generous spread of Filipino and international breakfast offerings, all included in the buffet experience priced at P1,800.

Warm, familiar, and deeply rooted in Filipino tradition, the Art of Champorado at Kusina Sea Kitchens offers a comforting start to any meal. Made with native tablea and served warm, it is included in Hilton Manila’s breakfast buffet from 6:30 until 10:30 AM, priced at P1,800. Its richness is matched by the Godél Hot Chocolate, crafted in collaboration with Godél and Auro Chocolates, whose bean-to-bar precision transforms every cup into a slow sip of comfort and pride. At the Madison Bar and Lounge, the Chocolate Table features a curated selection of handcrafted bars ranging from intense dark to smooth and mellow. Made with premium Philippine cacao and rooted in sustainability, each piece is a quiet tribute to the island’s farmers and makers. Price starts at P280.

For a more indulgent slice, Garden Wing Café features the Chocolate Custard Pie, where a flaky pastry crust is topped by a creamy chocolate filling with whipped cream and white chocolate. The seasonal dessert is available through July and August for P1,800.

For those craving familiar flavors with a whimsical twist, Banana Brownie Chocolate Crepe, Oreo Cookies and Cream, and Chocolate Crepe Cake deliver just that. These three dessert staples from La Creperie range from P225 to P365, each crafted to strike a balance between richness and lightness, folded into delicate textures and layers.

A timeless favorite finds its way to the table in the form of Chocolate Cake—a signature offering from Mary Grace Café. Crafted with premium Belgian chocolate and filled with creamy custard at the center, it offers a deep, satisfying richness that never goes out of style. Price starts at P476.

At Paper Moon Café, sophistication meets comfort in the Cocoa Rum Mille Crepe. Priced at P3,990, this dessert features layers of chocolate crepes, almond slivers, and a delicate note of rum, finished with a soft dusting of cocoa powder. The result is a dessert that lingers with quiet elegance.
