This collection showed that the brand’s strength lies in its ability to blend tradition with modern sophistication.
In the iconic courtyard of Saint Laurent’s headquarters, Anthony Vaccarello’s spring-summer 2025 collection made a strong, confident statement for Paris Fashion Week.

Sharp, tailored power suits were balanced with opulent evening wear referencing the house’s history.
Vaccarello, in charge since 2016, presents a collection of quiet luxury with minimalist flourishes. In a departure from last year’s utilitarian theme, power suits were seen on display in dark grays, black and deep plum.

Bella Hadid returned to the runway after a two-year hiatus with a sharp suit opening the show, setting the tone for a strong yet refined collection. Vaccarello favored heavy, oversized blazers, double-breasted jackets and wide-leg trousers in muted black and plum. The tailored pieces felt serious and structured, but simple enough to make them impactful, showing power in fashion need not to shout.

Accessories included chunky gold bangles, glossy leather belts and glittering shoes that paid homage to the house’s history but kept things modern. Such small details nod to YSL’s past but keep the collection current.

It was all about color and texture from daywear to evening looks. Fuchsia, emerald, and yellow shone on the runway in brocade blazers, sheer blouses, and ruffled skirts. Such pieces offset the stiffer suiting, proving that the Saint Laurent woman can be bold but still elegant.
In all of the pieces Vaccarello combined structure with sensuality, combining sharp lines with flowing evening wear.

As Bella Hadid closed the show in another perfectly tailored suit, the message was clear: This collection showed that the brand’s strength lies in its ability to blend tradition with modern sophistication.
