The beauty trends we saw all over F/W 2026 Fashion Week

Fashion month just wrapped, and if you’ve been scrolling through runway clips or backstage photos, you’ve probably noticed the same beauty looks popping up again and again.

Across New York, London, Milan, and Paris, different brands interpreted them in their own way, but the patterns were hard to miss. Hair was pulled back but not too perfect. Skin looked fresh but beautifully real. Makeup ranged from soft shimmer to darker, smudged eyes and deeper lips.

Once you start noticing them, you can’t unsee them. These are the beauty trends we kept seeing all throughout Fashion Week 2026.

Slick updos

Pulled-back hair showed up across almost every runway. At Saint Laurent, hair was slicked into low twisted buns with side parts. Chanel went for French twists, sometimes paired with chrome or glitter accents. Dior and Victoria Beckham showed low ponytails, often side-parted and left slightly loose instead of tightly pulled.

In Milan, Fendi kept the same idea but added softer details, like wispy strands or loosely twisted lengths.

Bold brows

At Emilia Wickstead, brows were brushed up to add structure to otherwise minimal makeup. Simone Rocha pushed it further with sharp shapes and added piercings along the brow line. Richard Quinn went in the opposite direction with bleached brows. These different approaches all did the same thing. They made the brows noticeable again. Instead of blending into the rest of the makeup, they helped define the face.

Glitter, shimmer, and misty eyes

At Chanel, models wore sparkly lavender eyeshadow that caught the light. Vivienne Westwood used heavier glitter across the lids. In London, shows like Tolu Coker and Conner Ives leaned into misty grey tones that looked slightly blurred, giving the eyes a softer, diffused effect.

Metallic shades also showed up in Paris, especially silver tones at brands like Rabanne and Hermès. Even Tom Ford added a reflective sheen to the eyes to contrast matte lips.

Smokey, bold, dark eyes

Prada went for a smudged liner with exaggerated dark circles, making the eyes look intentionally tired. Gucci showed kohl-lined eyes and smoked-out shadow that felt more like after-hours makeup. In London, Burberry sent out black smoky eyes paired with minimal lips.

Flushed cheeks

Instead of heavy layering or placing it all over the face, most shows kept the color focused on the cheeks. At Chloé, the flush looked slightly wind-hit, like skin after being outdoors. In London, shows like Simone Rocha and Erdem used deeper berry tones, but kept everything blended so it still looked natural.

The finish is more diffused, not overly pigmented. It sits closer to the skin and adds just enough color without taking over the whole look.

Vampy, and velvety lips

Lips went darker this season, but the finish made all the difference.

At Tom Ford, lips had that soft, velvety look. Matte, but not flat. Darker shades showed up across Milan as well. At Roberto Cavalli, lips were painted in deep plum and oxblood tones, some outlined for a stronger shape.

Paris had its own take. At Carven, lips were slightly blurred in berry and chocolate tones, not sharply lined, which made them feel more relaxed. Saint Laurent went bolder with richer berry shades paired with smoky eyes and slicked-back hair.

Yes, we’re taking notes.

Maybe it’s switching up your part, adding a bit of shimmer on a random weekday, or finally trying that darker lip you’ve been avoiding. What do you think?
