Coachella 2025 to feature Lady Gaga, Post Malone as headliners: Here’s what to know

Coachella 2025

From the exciting lineup to ticket selling, here’s everything you need to know about one of the biggest contemporary music festivals in the world.

2025 is going to be huge for music enthusiasts and hippies alike as the Coachella Music and Arts Festival is cranking up next year’s lineup with big names in the music industry.

Lady Gaga will set the stage ablaze as a headliner of one of the most exciting and diverse bills in the music fest’s history. The Bad Romance hitmaker will perform on the first and fourth days of the festival, which is set to take place on April 11-13 and 18-20 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

This marks Gaga’s second time to perform following her electrifying set in 2017, which was staged after Beyonce was forced to back out due to her pregnancy. The billing, released by Coachella on Nov. 21, also features Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott as Gaga’s co-headliners.

Unlike the three performers, Scott’s name was not attached to a date but to the phrase, “Designs the Desert.” His team later revealed in a press release that it is slated for Saturday night.

Gaga will be leading the Friday group which includes fellow stars Missy Elliot, Benson Boone, FKA Twigs, GloRilla, Tyla, Artemas, while Green Day is rocking the Saturdays alongside Charli XCX, Anitta, Clairo, Jimmy Eat World, and more. Post Malone is meanwhile leading the final days of both weekends that also feature performances from Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, Ty Dolla $ign, Rema, Shaboozery, and more.

K-pop is proving that it is ready to dominate the world stage yet again, with performances from Lisa and Jennie of the girl group Blackpink. Lisa will perform on April 11 and 18, while Jennie is slated for April 13 and 20. They first performed as a group at Coachella in 2019 and headlined the festival last year as the first K-pop act to do so.

Besides Lisa and Jennie, boy band Enhypen is amping up the crowd with performances on April 12 and 19. Girl group XG is also scheduled to perform on April 13 and 20.

Meanwhile, Filipino singer-songwriter Beabadoobee continues to make waves with her inclusion in the Coachella 2025 lineup. The London-based Filipina artist is making her Coachella comeback as part of this year’s Sunday group after her first performance at the festival in 2022.

Camping at Coachella

For the uninitiated, Coachella has been around since music promoters Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen held its first event in October 1999. It wasn’t until 2004 that it became famous and sold out for the first time.

In the decade since, the two-day event expanded to cover two separately ticketed weekends. It has also become a fashion and culture hub, with celebrities, influencers, and fashionistas flocking to the event.

As seen in the 2025 billing, Coachella features a diverse lineup of pop, rock, indie, hip-hop, and electronic dance music artists performing simultaneously on different stages at the Empire Polo Club at the Colorado Desert. Apart from live shows, attendees can marvel at art installations and sculptures, as well as enjoy food and drinks from around 15 restaurants taking part in the fest.

Since the event is held in a desert or an off-the-beaten path, participants would often sleep in their cars or camp outside throughout its duration. Camping started in 2003, with the event organizers offering the guests several options for a fee.

First on the list, and the most popular option yet, is Car Camping which allows guests to simply park their cars on the site, on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who want to attend the event sans the hassle of finding a parking space can go for the Preferred Car Camping with a guaranteed spot or the Front Row Preferred option that gives you a guaranteed spot with three power outlets for your gadgets.

Those who prefer a less confined experience can opt for Tent Camping which allows you to pitch your own tent on a field of grass or, better yet, book a stay in the tents and cabanas in Lake Eldorado or Safari Campground. Meanwhile, those who would like a luxurious experience can reserve accommodation at The Resort at Coachella, which includes a three- or four-day pass to the event and free shuttle service.

This year, Coachella is upgrading camping options and the festival overall experience of guests with its Ready-Set and La Campana Tents. The former provides guests with a pre-set limited-edition Coachella souvenir tent, air mattresses, and pillows for two people. Meanwhile, the La Campana option comes with a pre-set, fully furnished and temperature-controlled tent equipped with real beds for up to four people.

Prices range from $160 to $590 for the Car Camping options, $160 to $650 for Tent Camping, and $3,423 to $10,000 for a stay at Lake Eldorado or Safari Campground. Fees at The Resort in Coachella are available upon booking. All camping rates are exclusive of Transient Occupancy Tac (TOT), which is 12 percent of the rent charged to guests.
