Brunello Cucinelli Men’s Spring 2026: Where lightness and luxury meet

Titled “Shape of Light,” Brunello Cucinelli Men’s Spring 2026 collection is for elite men who express freedom through their style—refined, never extravagant.

Since launching its first menswear collection in 1994, Brunello Cucinelli has been dressing elite men with “effortless elegance” characterized by impeccable Italian craftsmanship and timeless design. Its Spring/Summer 2026 collection is no different—the collection is all about luxe comfort dressing. But this time, the brand is adding another definition to ease of wear—which is also about having the freedom to be light, fun, and subtly expressive.

Brunello Cucinelli’s SS26 collection, as the brand describes it, presents “masculine elegance” in a new form. Titled “Shape of Light,” the capsule portrays a man who is refined and never extravagant. He expresses freedom and composure through his style, which moves gracefully between flowing, relaxed silhouettes and meticulous attention to detail.

Wool, linen, and silk make up the majority of the collection unveiled at the house’s Casa Cucinelli showroom in Milan on June 22. It emphasizes lightness and softens traditional dress codes, inspired by the styles of the ’90s.

The collection aligns with Brunello Cucinelli’s signature method of tweaking small details to produce pieces that are both timeless and contemporary, formal and informal. Outerwear is designed with mobility and movement to prioritize ease of dressing, comfort, and flexibility.

Blazers and jackets get longer cuts, while coats are designed to be lightweight using comfortable silk. The lineup has double-breasted jackets aplenty, harking back to the distinct style of the ’90s. This time, though, they were deconstructed to reduce the weight and bulk.

Knitwear likewise emphasizes lightness and fluidity, with a focus on fine cashmere and linen yarns. Unstructured collars are key to the design of this new shirting option. Trousers are relaxed with more volume and softer shapes, while pantsuits turn fluid with silk and linen.

Among the standouts are the fireman’s jacket paired with corduroy shorts; suits with checkered, herringbone, and pinstriped patterns; and several zippered bomber jackets.

The collection’s color palette is still headlined by the brand’s staple neutral shades, but livened up by what it calls the “silent protagonists.” Orange, apricot, cherry red, and royal blue are balanced out with classic white, beige, brown, and black throughout the summer-themed capsule.

Summer-ready comfort is the main theme of the accessories, as seen in the stripped-down derbies, loafers, and sneakers. Meanwhile, bags and belts come in soft, light-toned leather finish, suggesting an “old rich” look for the warm season.

Brunello Cucinelli’s SS26 collection made its runway debut ahead of the documentary film, “Brunello, il visionario garbato” (Brunello, the Gentle Visionary). The film explores the life and work of the Italian fashion designer and his philosophy of “humanistic capitalism.” It is directed by Academy Award winner Giuseppe Tornatore and is set to premiere on Dec. 4.
