The new collection is a realization of Brunello Cucinelli’s strong quality-first ethos and robust growth in recent years and beyond.
No other brand can quite capture the luxury of quality like Brunello Cucinelli. The Italian fashion powerhouse boasts upscale prices, but quality is the primary factor that defines them. It is never flashy or concerned with trends.
“Quality is something you can vouch for. Only then does taste come,” Cucinelli said in a 2023 interview with Fashionista Network. Founded by the 71-year-old entrepreneur in 1985, the Brunello Cucinelli fashion group only promises long-lasting products with the finest materials and exceptional details from skilled Italian artisans.
This strong ethos of “leading a normal life” enabled the brand to gain growth in all markets in recent years despite the global luxury slowdown. It is also with this that the Brunello Cucinelli Fall-Winter 2025 collection continues to impress since its launch at the Milan Men’s Fashion Week at the Pitti Uomo fair last weekend.
Brunello Cucinelli’s new menswear capsule bridges the gap between philosophical contemplation and practical elegance. It is aptly named “Anamnesis” which, according to the brand’s founder, is inspired by his beloved Greek philosophers and is a “recollection and recognition of eternal ideas that lie at the origin of the world’s phenomena.”
In layman’s language, the collection creates a balance between traditional menswear codes and the demands of modern dressing. Each combination creates a luxurious informal look designed to stand out with subtle and light details emphasizing the high-quality tailoring that’s only Brunello Cucinelli’s.

No garment in the collection comes with a logo, just like the rest of the brand’s offerings from day one. Cucinelli explained the concept in his 2023 interview: “In our collections, you would never come up with a bright pop color in trousers or a blazer; it’s always just the knitwear. That’s when the no-logo philosophy or policy started: My idea was that, if you have a logo, it lasts less—with no logo, it can last for 100, 200 years.”
This season’s lineup is dominated by outerwear, where nylon meets cashmere—a specialty that brought the 47-year-old luxury brand to fame. Coats and jackets are reimagined with a sporty style through details like padded satin and soft leather. They are designed to meet, or rather elevate, everyday life with the elegance of Cucinelli’s yarns and the soft shearing used for the inserts to provide users with protection and warmth.
The lineup features elegant suits paired with knitwear that pays homage to craftsmanship. According to Nss Magazine, new bouclé yarns and rare fibers are used for the knits to reflect light softly and sophisticatedly. The Shetland technique—a traditional knitting style that uses two colors in a single row—is interpreted in a softer key. The English rib is renewed with vanisé techniques and new chevron-inspired versions, while Jacquard patterns enhance the garments with contrasting textures.

Apart from Brunello Cucinelli’s specialized knitwear, suits and soft coats are paired with denim trousers for more casual looks. Denim also comes in the form of jackets that were taken apart, stonewashed, and stitched together into a tailored model. Bomber jackets, in addition, were crafted from mixed media and reinvented with quilted satin finishes.
Another notable aspect of the new capsule is the use of colors—rich hues such as burgundy, sapphire, pumpkin, and amaranth are paired with grays, blues, and beige, creating a vibrant contrast that brings more life to every look. Footwear and accessories are added to the mix, with oiled and brushed leathers creating a masculine and sophisticated effect on every piece.

The Brunello Cucinelli Fall-Winter 2025 show comes after the fashion group made headlines for logging record revenues in 2024 amid the global luxury decline. According to Vogue, the Italian retailer’s revenue grew 12.4 percent in sales to €1.28. billion last year. It outperformed its expectations of 11 to 12 percent sales growth.
Cucinelli, the brand’s founder, sees continued growth in the coming years, especially with the opening of his new stores in Vancouver, Macao, Abu Dhabi, and Mexico in 2025. Aside from additional growth, the Italian entrepreneur and designer is confident that the year will bring “a rebalancing of luxury, with more attention to fair prices, fair wages for workers, and better service in stores.”
He urges other luxury brands to put focus on “exclusivity, creativity, craftsmanship, and contemporaneity,” which he believes makes the Brunello Cucinelli brand stand out from competitors.
