Coach Fall Winter 2025

Yes, you can now sit at the cool kids table with Coach’s swanky F/W 2025 collection

Just when you thought your dream of being at the cool kids table is one you graduated from in high school, accessible luxury brand Coach steps in to show you that, hey, nothing is ever too late.

On Monday afternoon, the fashion house debuted its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, which is a visualization of the anatomy of cool. Crafted under the creative vision of Stuart Vevers, the new capsule is another New York City-inspired spectacle that prompts young millennials and Gen Zs alike to do a double (even triple) take.

It’s not unusual for Coach to play with the concept of nostalgia, especially because it started as a family-run workshop handcrafting leather goods way back in 1941. The global brand has lived through time and, for this season, it’s particularly looking back on the late ’90s and the early oughts.

Everything at the Coach Fall/Winter 2025 show at New York Fashion Week speaks effortless cool and pays homage to the trends of yesteryear. The iconic venue of Park Avenue Armory in the Upper East Side was Coach-ified with brick-patterned cloths running around the parameter, exuding the historic yet familiar vibe of old New York architecture. The brand’s youthful cast of kids sashayed down the runway while the band Nation of Language performed their atmospheric numbers.

Each of these models looked as if they had just been plucked off the streets of Manhattan, wearing clothes inspired by Vevers’ favorite film, Kids. Cropped distressed leather jackets, washed denim, small graphic tees, and oversized cheetah coats, and more translated the 1995 film that follows a group of rogue teenagers traveling around New York, doing all the crazy things adolescents do.

The collection is a parade of ensembles taking street wear to the next level through slouchy silhouettes, clashing patterns, and playful embellishments. Modish outerwear plays the main character of this season, with the lineup’s biggest looks comprising long wool coats, cropped aviator jackets, relaxed blazers, and checkered suits.

Adding attitude to these reimagined classics are Coach’s cult-favorite knitwear jazzed up with textured patchwork, geometric agryle pattern, and shimmering lurex fabric. Meanwhile, the brand’s mastery of combining comfort and street-ready style is found in washed and worn-in hoodies, sweatshirts, and T-shirts.

Gorgeous flapper dresses and long coats with narrow shoulders look as if they’ve been pulled straight from the closets of The Matrix’s Neo and 90s kid-favorite Taylor Swift. There’s also the super-duper wide-legged trousers, with hems that puddle onto the ground, to bring back the glories of the nineties.

Vevers said that that as he was working on this eclectic capsule, “the idea of a clear message kept coming up, whether it was a really focused color palette or a very clear silhouette. There’s definitely a kind of 90s nonchalance going on, but it’s as important as to be clear about what you’re doing as who you are: our values of inclusivity and sustainability.” The latter is part of Coach’s “commitment to “repurposing and ‘re-loving’ secondhand garments through craft.” So for this season, all the denim in the capsule was upcycled.

There’s so much in the new capsule for Coach’s young customers to be excited about. This includes neon glasses, tiny pouch necklaces, and, of course, today’s “it” accessory—big fluffy bag charms. The handcrafted keychains feature stuffed teddy bears and knitted carrots that perk up the brand’s leather goods, including the new Twin Pocket Bag. Bringing more playfulness to the capsule are the fluffy bunny slippers that are inspired by Vevers’ children and their favorite toy, like the rest of these quirky additions to the collection.
