At this upscale 13-story property in Dubai, “luxury is not declared—it is deeply felt.”
At a time when fashion houses are increasingly collaborating with luxury resorts for a seamless “resort-core lifestyle,” Maison Margiela steps in, taking the game to the next level. The French label built its own residential tower, the Maison Margiela Residences, where premium resort experience becomes the everyday of each of its luxe lodgers.
Located in Dubai’s prestigious Palm Jumeirah, Maison Margiela Residences is the maison’s first foray into residential real estate and was developed in collaboration with Alta Real Estate Development. Established on Maison Margiela’s creative philosophy of deconstruction and transformative designs, this luxurious residential project is where fashion, form, and function converge.
“More than a home, it is an immersive expression of self and the art of living,” Alta describes the 13-story property on its website. “Here, luxury is not declared—it is deeply felt.”

Limited to 25 exclusive units, the upscale condominium features bespoke amenities that blend luxury couture fashion with architectural mastery, offering a lifestyle characterized by exquisite craftsmanship. It was designed by Maison Margiela in collaboration with multi-awarded Italian architect Carlo Colombo to “reinterpret the idea of beauty in architecture, replacing spectacle with intimacy, and opulence with poetic restraint.”
The interiors evoke the “quiet rebellion” that Maison Margiela has been known for since the house’s founding in 1988. At its first residential property, raw meets refined in the structures that “feel paused mid-process” and the surfaces stripped to their essential form. Maison Margiela’s signature white abound, turning chromatic spaces into fields for optics and perception.

Each unit brims with custom furniture that the fashion house’s architects and Colombo crafted with Renzo Rosso, founder and chairman of fashion conglomerate OTB Group, which owns Maison Margiela. The result is a collection that echoes Margiela’s principles of proportion, restraint, and material richness.
Organic materials like travertine, marmorino, and brushed metal transform sofas, tables, chairs, beds, and lighting to masterpieces of quiet refinement. Sculpted finishes and tonal textures reflect the beauty of the unfinished and real.

High-end finishes, spacious layouts, and premium comfort span all the three types of units found in Maison Margiela Residences. A standard two, three, or four-bedroom residence blurs the boundaries between indoors and out, with a terrace that offers a breathtaking view of the Arabian Gulf. The luxurious atmosphere is likewise felt inside, specially in the master suite that comes complete with serene baths and a dressing room that “unfolds as an expansive atelier rather than a wardrobe.”

The lavish experience is further enhanced in the four-bedroom duplex, with each of the room having its own expansive dressing area. The master suite, meanwhile, opens to its own terrace with uninterrupted view of the iconic Burj Al Arab. An interior lift and discreet service entry add to the refinement and exclusivity that’s truly Maison Margiela.

Most special of all is the La Maison Blanche, which is a one-of-one, two-level home located on the building’s penthouse. It offers uninterrupted views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s skyline in a space that spans 18,803-square feet and comes with a two-level terrace, sculptural pool, jacuzzi, and garden. “More than a home, it is a private world – composed with intention, and destined to remain unmatched,” Alta said.

Maison Margiela Residences extends the experience of an elegant lifestyle to exclusive amenities, including an art gallery, a spa, fitness studios, and the brand’s own Margiela Café. With services such as in-residence massages and bespoke wardrobe curation, Maison Margiela Residences is a realization of the maison’s world-class status.
Its launch complements the brand’s expansion strategy, which includes the launch of new boutiques in the Middle East. According to Rosso, this is just the first step in a larger plan to “to define the unmistakable style of a one-of-a-kind fashion house.”
