Longchamp’s Le Cadence hits all the right notes.
Paris has always moved to its own rhythm, and so has the woman Longchamp imagines moving through it. She is the Parisienne: instinctively stylish, perpetually in motion and able to put together a look without making it seem overly considered.
For Fall-Winter 2026, Longchamp translates that effortless quality into Le Cadence, a new bag whose name borrows from the language of music. Designed to keep pace with days that rarely follow a fixed tempo, it combines supple leather, a relaxed silhouette, and understated details in a piece meant to move easily from morning appointments to an unplanned weekend wandering around Paris.
There is a musicality to the idea. If the Parisienne composes her wardrobe note by note, Le Cadence is designed to fall naturally into the arrangement—quiet rather than showy, but never out of tune.
Embodying Longchamp’s savoir-faire, this new design reveals the beauty of leather in all its glory. The full-grain cowhide, round and generous in texture, delights with its remarkable suppleness and naturally soft, velvety feel, just asking to be touched. The bag is unlined to show the full thickness of the skin and to bring out the richness and nobility of the leather.

Le Cadence makes its own visual codes of the Maison, notably the signature flap and the pale gold-toned hardware, which – like a punctuation mark – puts the finishing flourish on a Longchamp creation.
“Le Cadence is a bag with natural flair, making it an instinctive choice and a reassuring presence in our hectic lifestyles. It’s the bag you reach for when you’re rushing out the door in the morning, and the one you take with you for a weekend wandering around Paris. I envisaged it as an essential which is never out of place, whatever the circumstance,” Sophie Delafontaine, Longchamp creative director, says.
Available in two sizes, Le Cadence has a double-flap closure which gives it a supple, minimally structured look and a natural elegance. Whether in its small or more spacious format, Le Cadence can be carried in different ways – in the hand, on the arm or over the shoulder – thanks to a row of studs on the side, which allow the strap to be adjusted in seconds.
Longchamp is exclusively distributed by SSI and available at Rustan’s and in boutiques.
