Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ stops by Disney+

Debuting on March 15, the film will show the concert in its entirety, including ‘Cardigan‘ and four additional songs from the acoustics section.

It’s indeed Taylor Swift’s world right now, and we’re living for and in it. Fresh from her record-setting Grammy Awards night and the announcement of her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department” (coming out on April 19), Miss Americana herself announced that “The Eras Tour Concert Film” will now have a home at Disney+.

The concert film, which will include five songs previously omitted from the theatrical run, will stream exclusively on Disney+. Photo from Facebook/Disney+.

“For the first time we’ll be showing the entire concert (including “cardigan”, plus 4 additional songs from the acoustic section!!) and I’m calling it, huge shock, ‘Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version),'” Swift wrote on Instagram.

We’ve previously written about how massive and influential the Eras Tour has become, and it just continues to exert its power—currently, Swift is in Japan for the Tokyo leg of the tour. To date, the concert has generated over $1 billion in ticket sales, while the concert film has grossed over $261 million worldwide, making it the highest grossing concert or performance film of all time, according to the Guinness World Records.

With 17 more tour stops, a new album, the Disney+ gig, and even more tricks up Taylor’s sleeve, we won’t be surprised if she gets recognized anew with another accolade akin to her TIME Person of the Year plum.
