PLDT Home’s OMG promo gives you the chance to win a brand new Toyota Fortuner to take you on your future road trips, among other exciting prizes.
It goes without saying that life in Metro Manila is an exercise in chaotic living. Traffic jams are among the world’s worst, pollution is an additional burden, and the lack of urban planning is an everyday scourge.
On top of these is the daily grind at work, which can prevent you from taking time off to take a much needed breather. Punishing schedules and unforgiving deadlines can get us so exhausted that we’d rather sleep in on days off, no matter how much we want to go on a quick out-of-town trip.
But what if we tell you that you need not travel far for some rejuvenating views and good food? And that with PLDT Home’s OMG promo, you can get the chance to drive home a new SUV to take you on your next road trip in comfort and style? Exciting, right?

PLDT Home’s OMG (One Mega Giveaway) is back in its second year! The prize pool this time around boasts bigger prizes, which includes a spanking new 2025 Toyota Fortuner, P1 million in cash, free fiber broadband for life, 10 lucky winners of P100,000 cash, and another 10 free fiber broadband for a year.
This said, THE POST gathers here five cafés near Metro Manila for your next quick drive, which will reward you not only with great eats but also with stunning views to soothe your weary soul. Cross youg fingers and plan your Fortuner roadtrips!

1. Bag of Beans Athena, Tagaytay

If you are a Tagaytay regular, chances are the Bag of Beans brand is already etched in your heart—and tummy. Over the years, the homegrown café has become a staple in many Tagaytay itineraries, owing to its rich coffee, delectable meals, and reasonable price points. Its Athena branch stands out for its distinct laid-back aesthetic that lends it a cozy vibe, perfect for a lazy coffee date with friends—or by yourself. It also boasts a breathtaking view that overlooks Taal Volcano, which you can enjoy from almost all tables both in and outside the café.
2. Café Lupe, Antipolo

Another old-timer in the coffee circuit is Café Lupe in Antipolo, which has been a go-to spot for scenic views of Metro Manila since 2009. We know the metro is not very pretty, but viewed from a distance it can be quite a sight to behold—especially if accompanied with Café Lupe’s signature Mexican food. The quesadillas, burritos, fajitas, and tacos, are reliable choices, while its Filipino fares are best if you’re looking for comfort food. They also host live musical performances and stream sports events, and even have a boxing area, karaoke rooms and a pool with a view.
3. Starbucks Reserve Hiraya, Tagaytay

This is the one branch to visit for all you Starbucks fans out there, with the awe-inspiring views of Taal Volcano worthy enough of a drive to this location. Despite its popularity among Tagaytay daytrippers, being the largest branch in the country (it can seat about 250!) means you have a good chance of getting a table without having to wait for too long. It is also the first Starbucks store in the Philippines to offer freshly baked pastries. A must-try is its signature Hiraya Latte, which is exclusive to the branch.
Other Starbucks stores in Tagaytay which also offer scenic views are the Tagaytay Downhill and Lavender branches.
4. Tsokolateria Artisanal Café, Tagaytay

If you prefer a decadent mug of hot chocolate over coffee while taking in the majesty of Taal Volcano, then this is the stop for you. You can’t go wrong with the café’s chocolate-based offerings, but a must-try is their signature Tsokolate de Batirol and their sinful Tablea Champorado. Looking for something savory and more filling? They also serve Filipino favorites such as Lechon Kawali and Pulled Chicken Adobo. Their Black Risotto—made of squid, black ink, gata, and a dash of Davao’s tablea powder—is a must order, too!
5. ArtSector Gallery & Chimney Café 360°, Binangonan

Want to venture beyond the usual spots in Tagaytay and Antipolo? Then this Binangonan favorite might just be the perfect quick drive for you. ArtSector Gallery & Chimney Café 360° is known best for its spacious roof deck that affords diners a 360° view of the surrounding areas, including the Metro Manila skyline, the Sierra Madre Mountain Range, Laguna Lake, and the Pililla Wind Farm. Quite majestic, really! If you’ve been to Pinto Art Museum, this café might seem familiar and just as Instagrammable because both were designed by visual artist Antonio Leaño.
