Expect Disney’s only ocean-themed park to turn into a sparkling blue wonderland filled with exciting activities and more.
Perhaps its because of its Frozen-themed Fantasy Springs zone that is found nowhere else, or how it creates a visually breathtaking picture, with Mount Prometheus as a centerpiece and Tokyo Bay as the backdrop. It could also be because of its sophisticated yet adventurous atmosphere that is geared towards older guests. Whatever the reason, one thing’s for sure—Tokyo DisneySea is widely considered the best Disney park globally, and it’s a must-visit when you’re in Japan.
This is especially true this summer, when the unique theme park is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a months-long program called “Sparkling Jubilee.” If you’re traveling to Tokyo this summer, make sure to include Tokyo DisneySea in your itinerary, as the park is turning more magical with limited-time activities.

It will kick off on January 14, with the stage show “Dance the Globe” in the American Waterfront’s Waterfront Park. Here, you’ll get to see Mickey Mouse and his friends, along with Rapunzel, Hiro from Big Hero 6, and Mirabel from Encanto, dance to music styles around the world.
The main celebration begins on April 15 and will feature not only thrilling entertainment, but also exclusive merchandise, themed food and beverages, and special decorations throughout the park in its signature color “Jubilee Blue.”

Here’s everything that Disney fans, both young and young at heart, should check out at the park as it celebrates its quarter-century milestone from April 15, 2026 through March 31, 2027.

Set sail with Mickey and friends

As Disney’s only ocean-themed park in the world, Tokyo DisneySea is marking its biggest milestone by far with a special voyage across the Tokyo Bay. Here, you’ll get to sail with Mickey Mouse and his friends in the Mediterranean Harbour zone aboard its specially decorated barge. The fun continues at the harbor, where you’ll get to watch more Disney friends hold 20-minute performances for up to three times daily.

Feel magic and romance all around especially during nighttime, with the show called “Sparkling Jubilee Night.” Expect to see the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta and the rest of the Mediterranean Harbor glow bright with a dazzling projection show set to the 25th anniversary theme song, “Come Join the Jubilee.”
Sparkling blue wonderland

Anyone who has been to a Disney park would know—a trip wouldn’t be complete without amazing photos. For its 25th year, Tokyo DisneySea is jazzing up the entire park with glittering Jubilee Blue decorations inspired by the park’s ocean theme. You’ll be greeted by these Instagrammable decorations the moment you enter the park, with sparkling designs surrounding the DisneySea Aquasphere at the entrance. Designs of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse with the 25th anniversary logo will be displayed at the entrance to Passaggio MiraCosta.

Once the sun sets, the park will illuminate with glittering lights at the passageway to Mediterranean Harbor, while the Arabian Coast will spring to life with an environmental production featuring music unique to the special event.
