Here are 2025’s hottest luxury brands, according to the internet

Loewe dethrones Miu Miu as the world’s hottest brand, while Chloé enters the top 10 for the first time in years.

Whoever says luxury fashion’s dying is making a serious fashion faux pas. 2025 is proving to be yet another strong year for the industry, with high-end fashion houses dominating the list of hottest brands for Q1 2025, according to the Lyst Index.

Based on the data published by the fashion tech company on April 30, Loewe is now the world’s hottest brand for the quarter, dethroning rival Miu Miu, which has held the spot in all four quarters of 2024. Loewe’s rise from last quarter’s fourth spot is, in part, because of the launch of its Fall-Winter 2025 men’s and women’s collections, its “Crafted World: Jonathan Anderson’s LOEWE” book, and immersive “Crafted World” exhibit in Tokyo.

But what ultimately increased the Spanish label’s appeal is Anderson’s exit from the brand last month. According to Lyst, the famed designer’s departure helped spike searches by 38% on its website, with consumers wanting to invest in his last collection at the house.

Loewe surpassed Miu Miu and Saint Laurent’s popularity, with both labels now taking the second and third spots on the list. Coach, meanwhile, jumped a place higher to No. 4, while Prada took two steps down to fifth place.

Lyst based the ranking on the searches, product views, sales, as well as social media engagement on its online shopping platform. The fashion tech company has been reporting quarterly shopper behavior data of its 200 million shoppers since 2017.

Alongside these high-end powerhouses, Lyst’s Q1 2025 report highlights other rising stars. Affordable quiet luxury brand COS surged 11 places to No. 6, affirming its position in the industry. A premium sub-brand in the H&M Group, COS recorded a 44% increase in demand in the last quarter, largely because of viral products like its barrel-leg trousers—this quarter’s 6th hottest product, according to Lyst.

Meanwhile, French luxury label Chloé entered Lyst Index’s top 10 for the first time ever at No. 9. Chemena Kamali’s return as creative director has clearly helped bring the brand back into the conversation. Her revitalization of Chloé’s boho aesthetic proves to be a winning strategy that not only draws attention to the brand, but also to its Mini Ruffled Dress, which is the 10th hottest product on the list.

Rounding up the 10 hottest brands for Q1 are luxury labels Bottega Veneta and The Row, which nabbed the seventh and eighth spots respectively, alongside Alaïa which sits at the 10th place. Luxury brands continue to boom, and it is evident not only in Q1’s top 10, but also in how high-end labels Duran Lantik and Dries Van Noten make up the group of “fast-moving” brands of the quarter, as noted by Lyst.
