Gap and Dôen’s second collab brings back California cool

The capsule collection is rooted in Dôen’s signature vintage-inspired aesthetic and Gap’s all-American staples.

There’s something quietly powerful about clothing that doesn’t shout, but simply belongs—to a season, to a moment, to you. That’s the kind of magic Gap and Dôen captured with their first collaboration. This season, they’re bringing that feeling back with a second capsule collection that dives even deeper into what made the first such a hit: nostalgic ease, timeless femininity, and a breezy California sensibility.

Think breezy coastal dresses, romantic eyelet textures, and matching sets in crisp nautical hues—clothes that feel like summer and live like staples.

“Our first collection with Dôen set a new bar for how a collaboration can infuse a fresh perspective into Gap essentials,” said Mark Breitbard, president & CEO of Gap. “Reuniting with Dôen has allowed us to build on that momentum with a new summer-ready collection.”

This season’s drop introduces new silhouettes and prints while building on fan-favorite pieces from last year. The Pintuck Floral Midi Dress brings fresh florals to easy, throw-on-and-go dressing. Eyelet Maxi Dresses, a sell-out star from the first collab, return with refined updates. And matching sets in red, white, and navy offer a modern nod to Americana style—classic but never boring.

But beyond the clothes, the collaboration is anchored in purpose. Like the first, the collection was produced in factories that participate in RISE (Reimagining Industry to Support Equality), a program co-founded by Gap Inc. in 2023 to improve gender equity in the global garment industry. RISE trains and empowers women workers with the skills they need to advance both professionally and personally. So far, Gap Inc. has reached nearly 1.4 million women and girls through its equity-centered programs.

The collection is available at Gap Trinoma and SM Mall of Asia, and on gap.com.ph.

“At Dôen, we were humbled to be selected as a small business partner to join the RISE program,” said Margaret Kleveland, co-founder and CEO of Dôen. “We launched the initiative in our own supply chain this April and are thrilled that the factories chosen for this collection reflect our shared values.”

That spirit of shared growth and collective impact echoes throughout the campaign as well. Shot by Clara Balzary, the visuals feature a luminous cast of women who have shaped the Dôen brand from the beginning—friends, muses, and supporters who embody its message of soft power and authenticity. Faces like Alex Noriet, Bruna Tenorio, Imani Randolph, and Kirsty Hume bring the pieces to life in quiet, joyful vignettes of connection and celebration.

“This collection is a tribute to them and to the partnership that brought us here,” said Kleveland.

In a world of fast drops and fleeting trends, Gap × Dôen offers something different: style with story, softness with strength, and design with purpose. And that, perhaps, is what makes this collaboration so covetable—it isn’t just about the clothes. It’s about how they make you feel.
