Hermes fall winter collection 2024

Hermès epitomizes women conquering the city in fall-winter collection

The luxury house expertly blends fierce fashion with equestrian elegance.

Women out to conquer the city — this is the persona that Hermés wants to bring forth from the ladies dressing to kill in its fall-winter 2024-2025 ready-to-wear collection. And the Parisian fashion powerhouse is delivering on its promise.

The collection is a manifestation of the brand’s timeless style and top-rate craftsmanship. Its theme, more notably, pays homage to the brand’s equestrian heritage with modern touches. It brings to life a horseback rider who has swapped her saddle for a motorcycle race seat. Her wardrobe now consists of shiny leather jackets with metallic studs and zippers, paired with knee-high buckled boots.

The Hermès woman is geared up for an adventurous life in the city with her high-waisted bomber jackets, bootcut pants, biker-inspired jumpsuits, and belted coats that all provide freedom of movement.

The aesthetic is steampunk with a blend of city chic, as seen in the ingenious use of fabrics such as knits, twills, fleece, cashmere, and corduroy. Sophistication is likewise reflected in the collection’s wide range of trench coats that come in various lengths and materials. It includes leather double-breasted coats, a long lambskin moto jacket, and a leather trench with a maxi collar made out of fur.

Other ensembles designed to withstand the winter weather are studded lambskin coordinates, long leather skirts, and printed maxi dresses. There are also unique pieces embodying Hermès’ idealism of creative freedom and innovation: jodhpurs tailored into leather long johns, saddle pads reinvented into quilted leather jackets, a dress stitched from scarves, and a blanket coat that can also be used as a real throwover.

The collection further delves into the luxury brand’s equestrian heritage with its palette that is reminiscent of horse racing. Most of the ensembles come in dark tones of black, brown, and gray. Some carry the Pantone Equestrian Red and a touch of autumn in the yellow butter color.
