Like its famed Los Angeles flagship, Sushi Park in Saint Laurent’s Paris boutique aims to captivate celebrities and hungry fashionistas alike with its flavorful and refined Japanese cuisine.
Food is the new fashion for Saint Laurent. The French fashion powerhouse is no longer just a designer of clothes, nor a film production house, but also a purveyor of upscale dining, with the opening of its first permanent restaurant in Paris.
On Feb. 21, Saint Laurent is opening Sushi Park Paris to offer stylish sushivores and hungry fashionistas an experience that mixes fashion and food on one plate. Set in the newly renovated Saint Laurent Rive Droite boutique in Paris, the restaurant is yet another proof of the fashion house’s expertise in redefining the boundaries of luxury.
Like Saint Laurent, Sushi Park is a class of its own. It has, in fact, been open since 2006 and has long been a celebrity favorite, with stars like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Justin Beiber, Dua Lipa, and the Kardashians frequenting its flagship in Los Angeles.

Other than these celebrities, Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello is a known fan of the original Sushi Park in L.A. His penchant for the restaurant’s delicious omakase prompted him to collaborate with Sushi Park chef and owner, Peter Park, on a pop-up for Paris Fashion Week in 2022.
This, in addition to Vaccarello’s mission to transform Saint Laurent to more than just a fashion label, led to the opening of Sushi Park Paris—the renowned restaurant’s first permanent location outside L.A.
Sushi Park brings the same exclusive, fine dining experience to its guests in the world’s fashion capital. It features a minimalist and refined approach that complements Saint Laurent’s sophisticated style.

The new spot features sleek, high-end interior design with dark wood-panel walls, dark sculptural furniture, and romantic mood lighting from subdued lanterns and candles. Its open kitchen setup adds to the hushed and intimate dining experience guests can expect with each visit. All these make for a simple and unpretentious dining experience that highlights the quality of Sushi Park’s offerings rather than the ambiance.

In true fashion, Sushi Park Paris serves up masterfully crafted Japanese cuisine that merges taste and visual appeal. Here, sushi is conceived as a work of art, combining textures, flavors, and ingredients often sourced directly from Japan. Known for its top-tier fresh fish, the restaurant’s Paris location also offers revolutionary concepts centered on fresh catches like toro tuna, yellowtail, salmon, and sea bream.

Besides its authentic sushi, the restaurant is known for its omakase menu that offers guests an experience of having the chef curate the sequence and type of dishes you will receive. To bring out the delicate flavor of every dish, the restaurant offers a variety of drinks to pair with every dish, such as Japan’s rice wine or “sake,” green tea, and beer, among others.
Sushi Park is also likely to follow its predecessor’s no-photo policy, which adds to the exclusive atmosphere that celebrities keep coming back to in its L.A. branch.

The luxury house announced the restaurant’s upcoming debut with a short film directed by Pierre-Ange Carlotti, starring American celebrities Lourdes Leon and Dominic Sessa, Palestinian singer-songwriter Saint Levant, and other ambassadors of the house. The film was produced by Saint Laurent Productions, the film production company built by Vaccarello for the fashion house in 2023.
Just like Sushi Park Paris, Saint Laurent Productions is among the luxury house’s ventures outside fashion. Although the company is relatively new, it has already earned multiple awards and nominations, notably for the hit musical crime film Emilia Peréz.
Vaccarello continues to push the boundaries of luxury fashion even further with the launch of Babylone during the reopening of Saint Laurent’s Rive Droite store on Feb. 13. The bookstore-slash-art-gallery showcases the designer’s inspirations and interests in the house’s recently opened boutique. In addition, the designer launched Saint Laurent Editions which, according to Nss Magazine, is a publishing house offering photography books aligned with Saint Laurent’s aesthetic.
For those eager to get a taste of Sushi Park and explore Saint Laurent’s expansions outside fashion, you can visit the restaurant at 8 Rue du 29 Julliet and its Rive Droite boutique at 213 Saint-Honoré in Paris. Reservation is advised for the restaurant and can be booked through its website.
