Get ready to geek out over the immersive menu inspired by Netflix shows like Squid Game, Stranger Things, Bridgerton, One Piece, Wednesday, and more.
Staying home to watch television all day was considered a big no-no until Netflix made it cool. Today, we couch potatoes can do more with the streaming powerhouse than just “Netflix and chill.” It now has a spanking new restaurant that’ll inspire you to travel, dine, and celebrate the glories of being a geek.
Enter Netflix Bites, the streaming giant’s first themed restaurant, where food and fandom collide. Located in Las Vegas’ iconic MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, the new food spot offers to “bring the magic of the screen to the table” with its eye-popping interiors and interactive menu items inspired by everyone’s favorite Netflix shows and movies.
Netflix Bites is a collaboration between the streaming app and MGM Grand, offering guests a one-of-a-kind dining experience that combines Netflix’s mastery at storytelling with the five-star hospitality of Las Vegas’ largest hotel and casino. The new restaurant has a one-year residency at the hotel and has started serving hungry pop culture aficionados last week.

Speaking at the restaurant’s preview event last Feb. 12, Netflix vice president of Consumer Products said, “Netflix Bites Vegas is a new way to experience fan-favorite movies and shows. When our fans find a show they like, they don’t just want to love it—they want to live it. There is no city in the world that knows best how to immerse fans in over-the-top worlds like Las Vegas.”
The adventure begins right at the entrance, where Squid Game’s pink soldiers stand to watch players and guests enter a towering, gaping red mouth. The bold entryway—a highlight of the quirky façade jazzed up signages that read, “Bite me” and “Eat squid. Win games”—sets the tone for the one-of-a-kind experience that awaits you inside.

A vast dining space unfolds thereafter, where walls and fixtures are painted in saturated pop-art pastels and livened up with neon signages. Toulouse-Lautrec-style posters are hung all over the space to bring you closer to the world of your favorite Netflix shows.
This includes The Queen Gambit’s Beth Harmon, who is depicted lounging around with a giant martini glass and chess boards, Bridgerton’s Queen Charlotte literally spilling the tea while reading Lady Whistledown’s gossip, a surfer riding a slice of pepperoni pizza that nods to the Surfer Boy pizza chain in Stranger Things, as well as a pirate ship with a load of musubi as inspired by One Piece.
Working together, all these multicolored elements exude a dynamic energy tightly intertwined with Netflix. The entire setup serves as the perfect backdrop for the dishes and drinks that wink to a beloved Netflix moment.

Speaking of, the menu features customized dishes inspired by over 30 shows on Netflix. Simon told Hollywood Reporter that they cooked it up in the same way that they would make a movie or TV show. “It’s grounded in storytelling. We start with our fan favorites, particularly ones with very rich worlds, characters, and stories that give us a creative jumping-off point to bring to life in menu form,” he said, noting that the dishes come from different parts of the world.
The lineup features customized dishes whipped up straight from Netflix hits, including Beef, Bridgerton, Bird Box, Chef’s Table, Dinner Time Live with David Clang, Emily in Paris, Ginny & Georgia, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Inventing Anne, Is It Cake?, One Piece, Orange is the New Black, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, Queer Eye, Selling Sunset, Sex Education, Street Food, Stranger Things, Squid Game, Wednesday, and WWE RAW.

Among the most Instagram-worthy dishes is Squid Game “Red Bite, Green Bite,” which comes with a spinning wheel that would decide in which of its three sauces you will dip your chicken nugget.

Meanwhile, Stranger Things fans are in for a flavorful ride with “Eleven’s Feast” which will take you to Hawkins and the Upside Down with a double-decker presentation of crispy fried chicken and waffle sliders paired with spicy chicken and black-sesame waffles. There’s also the “Surfer Boy Pizza” which comes with a box that has a phone number which you can call to hear a character greeting.
If you’re a fan of One Piece, get ready to sail to an appetizing adventure with Luffy and his crew, with the “Grand Line Snowboat” that arrives at your table with a towering sushi presentation.
Meanwhile, WWE fans better prepare for a belly-busting match with the “Smash Burger” that comes with a “Royal Rumble” sauce and a WWE logo burned into the bun.

Interactive fun continues with the desserts, starting with “The Dessert is Lava,” where gummy bear contestants try to climb a mountain overflowing with confectioners’ lava, as inspired by The Floor is Lava. A sweet experience awaits fans of Nailed It! with the restaurant’s decorating challenge where every failed attempt turns out delicious.
There’s also the “Is It (Cheese) Cake?” that comprises hyper-realistic cakes that’ll make you question whether your dessert is real or not. If elegant indulgences suit your taste, Bridgerton “Regency Tea” lets you sip away through delicate finger sandwiches and sweets.

Cocktails are likewise created to match shows from Squid Game to The Fall of the House of Usher and the restaurant’s unique dishes. Among those likely to end up in your feed is Stranger Things “Mind Flayer” that brings the Upside Down to life with a storm-electrified bourbon, blackberries, cotton candy lightning cloud, and a blinking ice cube. Meanwhile, “La Case De La Sangria” features a Money Heist lockbox with a gold bar and mint leaves.

Netflix Bites Vegas follows the Bites pop-up that ran for more than six weeks in Los Angeles in 2023. It is part of the company’s expansion to real-world experiences, alongside “The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience,” “Stranger Things: The Experience,” and the upcoming Netflix House in Dallas and Philadelphia, among many others.
Netflix Bites is now open to give guests an experience as binge-worthy as its shows, with online reservations opening on Feb. 20 at NetflixBites.com.
