Beauty investments for busy women who want to spend less time getting ready.
You want to look put together. You also want an extra 20 minutes in bed and to leave the house on time.
Between working from home, meeting people, and heading to events, I want getting ready to take less time. Even on days when I’d rather stay in bed, it helps to have a routine that doesn’t feel like a whole errand. I’ve started investing in tools and exploring clinic treatments with that in mind.
I admit, it can get expensive. What helps me justify a purchase is looking at what I already spend on products, appointments, and getting ready. A tool I use regularly could be worth the upfront cost if it replaces other purchases or salon visits. A clinic treatment needs more thought, including follow-up sessions and whether it addresses something my current routine doesn’t. I’m learning to count the full cost and what I’ll actually use.

The idea of being high maintenance to stay low maintenance has been around for years. Book the treatment, put in the effort, and make your everyday routine a little easier. For women juggling work, side projects, family, and a social life, the appeal is obvious.
In 2026, there are even more ways to spend on that promise. If you have the budget and want to invest, these treatments and tools are a good place to start. The best choice comes down to what you need, how often you’ll use it, and how much upkeep you’re willing to do.
PDRN and skin boosters
PDRN, an ingredient often made from salmon DNA that may help skin repair itself, is among this year’s beauty trends. Korean brand Rejuran often comes up in the same conversation, but its injectable treatment uses polynucleotides, or PN. A practitioner injects the product into the skin to help improve skin quality and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Before booking, ask which product the clinic uses and whether it suits your skin concerns.

A 2025 research review found promising improvements in texture, wrinkles, and elasticity from PN injections. But the evidence came from nine small studies of low to moderate quality. There’s reason for interest, with room for better research.
Worth considering for a specific skin concern. Ask a dermatologist about likely results, recovery, and the cost of the full course. If your goal is to feel comfortable with less makeup, explain that during your consultation. No treatment can promise you’ll retire your concealer.
Korean scalp care
A professional hair wash and scalp massage can sound especially good after a packed week. Korean head spas combine cleansing and care with time to sit back. EcoJardin’s Jamsil branch in Seoul lists its 15-step treatment at ₩180,000 (P8,400) and its 18-step version at ₩250,000 (P11,600).
You can also try it locally. Eco Jardin Philippines in BGC lists its Ultimate Scalp Treatment at P10,500–P14,000. At that price, the experience should be something you genuinely want.

Worth considering as an occasional treat. Don’t expect lasting hair growth or fewer wash days. Persistent flakes, itching, or thinning need proper assessment and targeted care, as the American Academy of Dermatology explains in its guides to dandruff and hair loss.
Teeth whitening
If you’ve been wanting a brighter smile, dentist-supervised whitening is worth a thought. It’s an established treatment that can carry through workdays, dinners, and photos without adding a cosmetic step each morning.

Options include in-office whitening and dentist-supervised home trays. Home treatment can take days to weeks, and crowns, veneers, and fillings won’t whiten like natural teeth. A dentist can help you understand what result is realistic.
Worth considering if discoloration bothers you. Ask about sensitivity, gum irritation, and touch-ups before booking. Choose a result you feel comfortable with.
Laser hair reduction
Remembering to shave when you’re already running late gets old quickly. If hair removal is a regular part of your routine, laser hair reduction offers one of the clearest reasons to invest upfront. I just started getting mine and I admit, it slowed down the growth process and lightened my underarms, which also saved me shaving time and kept me from chicken skin!

You’ll need multiple appointments, and maintenance may follow. The American Academy of Dermatology says results can last months or years, depending on your hair, skin, treatment area, and the laser used.
Worth considering if you frequently shave or wax. For Asian women, a broad “suitable for Asian skin” claim isn’t enough. Ask about experience treating your particular skin tone, since incorrect treatment can cause burns and pigment changes.
A reliable hair tool
A versatile styling tool can be useful if you regularly dry and style your hair before heading out. Dyson Philippines lists the Airwrap Co-anda2x multi-styler and dryer in Ceramic Apricot/Topaz at P38,900, with attachments for different styles.

That’s a substantial purchase, so try it on your own hair if possible. Texture, density, and length matter more than how easy someone makes it look in a tutorial.
Worth considering if you’ll use it often. Choose a tool that suits your everyday hairstyle and the time you have to create it. If you only style for special occasions, an occasional salon appointment may suit you better.
An LED mask
An LED mask brings a treatment routine home, which can help when appointments are hard to fit in. It still needs consistency though! CurrentBody’s Series 2 instructions recommend 10-minute sessions three to five times a week.

The American Academy of Dermatology notes potential benefits from red-light therapy, but results vary across devices and studies. It advises people with darker skin tones to consult a dermatologist before home use because visible light can contribute to hyperpigmentation.
Worth considering if you enjoy a regular skincare routine. If you’re hoping to have fewer beauty tasks, think carefully before adding one. Convenience only helps when the device fits your life.
You don’t need everything on this list. Start with the part of getting ready that takes the most effort, then decide what you’d happily spend to make it easier. The investment should leave you with more time to enjoy your day.
