The two Cebu icons put the spotlight on Filipino artistry in an evening of elegance and creative design.
Fine jewelry brand DiaGold and fashion designer Cary Santiago recently presented their collections at Shangri-La The Fort, bringing together the country’s leading tastemakers and cultural influencers.
“This was more than a fashion show,” DiaGold CEO Jennifer Ty said. “It was a moment that honored the artistry of Cary Santiago, celebrated DiaGold’s design legacy, and redefined what it means to champion Filipino luxury.”
DiaGold unveiled an entirely new jewelry collection created exclusively for the show and headlined by its latest masterpiece called Crown Jewels. It was all about the grandeur of big, bold, and vibrant stones—rubies in fiery crimson, sapphires in deep royal blue, emeralds in lush green, and yellow diamonds that glistened with golden light.
Each piece commanded attention, exuded drama, power, and a sense of royalty. Like treasures once reserved for monarchs and empires, Crown Jewels spoke of legacy and prestige while remaining modern.
The boldness of DiaGold’s vision found its counterpart in Cary Santiago’s couture collection, marking his first solo show in Manila in a decade. Known for his mastery of sculptural design, Cary drew inspiration from animalia and plumage, reinterpreting wings, feathers, patterns, and movement through his soft sculpture technique. His collection explored strength and delicacy, with creations that echoed flight, transformation, and fantasy.

Together, the Crown Jewels collection and Cary Santiago’s couture created a powerful visual dialogue between jewelry that embodied the magnificence of gemstones and fashion that reimagined the natural world through innovation, craftsmanship, and artistry.
