Louis Vuitton Fall 2026 menswear explores the timeless art of Ivy League style

Crafted under the supervision of Pharrell, Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2026 men’s collection revisits the nostalgia of college days through the house’s polished, detail-oriented lens.

What’s cool then, now, and in the future when it comes to men’s fashion? The answer is simple: the Ivy League style. Since it grew in popularity in the early 1950s, this preppy-slash-sporty way of dressing has expanded from the elite campuses of Ivy Leagues—Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and five other universities—and into the runway of luxury brands. Now, Pharrell Williams is out prove that it’s a style that never gets old—and certainly one worth owning—with the launch of Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2026 men’s capsule.

The new collection, unveiled on July 29, is a masterclass on Ivy League dressing, which blends traditional formal menswear and the sporting attire of the British and American upper classes. Think knit silks paired with business suits, khaki chino pants with sports jackets, and sweater vests with button-down collar shirts Ivy Leaguers would wear every day both on and off campus.

A vision of Louis Vuitton creative director and music icon Pharrell, the house’s Fall 2026 men’s collection revisits the nostalgia of college days through a polished, detail-oriented lens. It combines Ivy League sophistication with the art and precision of Louis Vuitton’s craftsmanship in pieces that sit between elegant prep and laid-back sportswear.

From library study sessions to sailing and recreational tennis matches, the wardrobe traverses academia, work, and leisure, emphasizing classic silhouettes, clean lines, and polished tailoring jazzed up with LV’s iconography. It introduces a slew of signature patterns, including the Monogram Tartan taking over flannel shirts, hooded blousons, and denim sets. Monogram Heritage stripes, meanwhile, decorate workwear tops and windbreakers. A Monogram Seeds motif reinvents Louis Vuitton’s flower emblem into a Damier-inspired stamp on denim pieces and leather overshirts.

Pharrell brings luxury to varsity sports through finely crafted trucker jackets that use premium fabrics and knitwear elevated with university-inspired elements. Outerwear takes center stage in this collection that is trans-seasonal in nature. It features double-face wool, cashmere blousons, single-breasted bouclette coats, and camel jackets that complete each look with rich texture. These pieces reflect LV’s refined approach to layering that is visually appealing yet never heavy.

The collection is imbued with classic school codes, from the silhouettes down to the color palette, which features a muted base accentuated by pops of varsity-inspired tones. It transitions through lecture halls and playing fields, with the inclusion of cargo pants and shorts reinvented for a contemporary feel.

Further cementing the Ivy League spirit are the accessories, including woven jacquard Monogram Heritage scarves and the tennis caps, socks, and beanies adorned with LV Club motifs. Meanwhile, LV Oxford loafers in calf leather and the boat-shoe-inspired LV Remix likewise complement the collection’s fusion of casual elegance and Louis Vuitton’s rich heritage.

Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2026 menswear collection is slated for release in-store and online this September.
