The charming collection uses an aesthetic pink palette and Murakami’s whimsical florals to perk up 40 of the house’s creations.
Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami are diving back into their iconic collaboration and, this time, bringing a charming and elegant lineup to make any cherry blossom fan blush—if not hoard the new bags.
In Chapter Two of the Louis Vuitton x Murakami collab, the Japanese artist’s beloved cherry blossom motif is making a return, but with a fresh spin. It comes two decades after Louis Vuitton and Murakami teamed up on their first collab, which infused the artist’s vibrant and playful “Superflat” art style into the fashion house’s classic staples.
Touted as one of the most successful partnerships in fashion history, the first Louis Vuitton x Murakami collab lasted for twelve years, from 2003 to 2015, and spanned three collections: the vibrant Monogram Multicolor, the playful Panda, the eccentric Cerises, and the recently refreshed Cherry Blossom.

Now referred to as “Chapter Two” of the 2025 LV x Murakami collab, the recreated Cherry Blossom line is an artful celebration of Japan’s sakura season, which everyone, especially Filipinos, anticipates all year round and flocks to every March and April. Dainty, dreamy, and glowing with charm, the new collection uses an aesthetic pink palette and Murakami’s “smiling” pink florals to perk up 40 of the house’s creations, from leather bags, accessories, and footwear, to a made-to-order trunk.

Playful pink florals and full-blown pink take over handbags such as the Capucine Mini. The versatile two-way bag is turned into an adorable conversation starter with its pastel pink hue and an overload of pretty pink Murakami florals. There’s also the Louis Vuitton x Murakami Marellini, which is reimagined in baby pink and jazzed up with a removable Murakami bag charm and pocket mirror.

For lovers of the bucket bag, the Louis Vuitton x Murakami NéoNéo BB is out to win your hearts with its light pink shade and cherry blossom print in different sizes. If you prefer something a little simpler yet equally striking, the collection’s Capucine handbag is kept minimal yet stylish with its bold “cheeky pink” hue and pastel pink LV emblem. Murakami added a bit more playfulness by incorporating his signature flower into the top handle.

Lovers of the LV Monogram will delight in the creative fusion of the house’s signature flower pattern with Murakami’s whimsical florals found in bags like OnTheGo, Speedy 25, Papillion, Bologne, Nano Buckette, and Pochette, worthy of being shown off during a day out with friends. Designed to bring more fun to your everyday are wallets, such as the Zippy, that offer charm and functionality in one.

Travelers can bring the beauty of Japan’s springtime wherever they go with Louis Vuitton x Murakami travel essentials, including the Horizon 55 luggage, Rolling Trunk, Keepall 45, and Courrier Lozine 110 Fleurs.

Besides leather goods, Murakami’s dainty and zesty motif lands on silk carrés, sneakers, and platform sandals. It even extends its reach to beauty, with Murakami’s playful flowers blossoming on the bottle, packaging, and glass-domed flacon of LV’s Spell on You perfume.

And just like the Louis Vuitton x Murakami – Chapter One collection, the second chapter’s campaign is starred by house ambassador and multi-awarded actress Zendaya. The new capsule will kick off online on March 14 and will roll out in stores worldwide on March 21.
