5 major Apple products to watch in 2026

From its first-ever foldable phone to an all-new smart home device, these Apple products are worth saving up for in the coming months.

2026 is finally here, and for all the gadget geeks out there, the new year means a slew of fresh, neat devices, especially from Apple. The tech giant has been known for launching devices that redefine tech year after year, but 2026 is looking to be a huge one for the tech giant as it is expected to unveil a series of firsts.

In 2025, we saw Apple drop its thinnest and lightest smartphone by far, the iPhone Air, along with the iPhone 17 Pro models that feature the device’s most significant redesign in years. Then there’s the M5 chip, which was built as an AI powerhouse with a next-gen GPU that dramatically speeds up AI tasks, as well as new generations of its Apple Watches and the AirPods Pro 3, which boasts enhanced noise cancellation and Apple’s first live translation.

This year is poised to be bigger—we’re expecting the launch of the first foldable iPhone, an all-new home hub device and security camera, plus—surprise, surprise—a low-cost MacBook. Below, we rounded up the major products Apple is likely to roll out this 2026, based on predictions from reliable analysts and tipsters like Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Read on because sometimes the biggest tech flex is getting ahead of everyone.

The first-ever iPhone Fold

Foldable phones have been around since the ‘90s, but have now become the “it” gadget of Gen Z, thanks to Samsung’s launch of the Galaxy Z Fold in 2019 and the Galaxy Z Flip the year after. Six years later, Apple is out to prove that it may be late to the game, but it’s putting out all stops to change it.

Kuo announced in a note in 2025 that the Cupertino-based company is introducing its first-ever foldable phone in 2026, which is poised to be a “top-tier iPhone” with a “crease-free inner display” unlike most foldables its competitors have released of late.

According to the trusted tipster, this phone, nicknamed iPhone Fold, will have a book-style design (similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold) but sport “an approximately 7.8-inch crease-free inner display.” Outside, the phone has another display that measures around 5.5 inches and a camera setup with dual lenses and an LED flash.

The anticipated foldable is expected to be exceptionally thin, aiming to span only 4.5mm thin when open and 9 to 9.5mm when closed, making it thinner than current iPhones. Durability is likewise a key feature, with Apple securing the hinge with a combination of stainless steel and alloy, while the casing opts for titanium.

Leaker Jon Presser revealed the complete design of the device in a YouTube video last December, showing that the iPhone Fold is likely to have a rounded design that’s different from the boxy Galaxy Z Fold. The renders also suggest a flatter surface compared to other foldables, giving the device a more seamless look when opened.

Apple is complementing the sleek aesthetic with powerful performance from its next-generation A20 Pro chipset, as well as its proprietary C2 modem for enhanced connectivity. Kuo added that it could also use the same silicon-carbon battery as the iPhone 17, offering higher energy density without increasing the phone’s size.

The iPhone Fold is rumored to be available in three color ways: Titanium, Deep Black,  and Golden Orange. It could begin mass production in the last quarter of 2026, with a retail price of over $2,000 (P118,000).

A relatively affodrable MacBook

There’s not denying that like anything Apple, MacBooks are generally considered more expensive than other laptops in the market. But who wouldn’t want to invest in one, when it packs a premium build, intuitive operating system, seamless integration with other Apple devices, and a robust M-series chip unlike any other, right?

This year, Apple is easing the expense for all the creatives, developers, writers, business professionals, and basically everyone wanting its premium laptop, with its rumored launch of a low-cost MacBook.

Kuo reported in June 2025 that the device will sport a standard 13-inch display ith no mini-LED technology or ProMotion refresh rate. It will be powered by Apple’s A18 processor, making it the first MacBook to run on a chip built for an iPhone. It could come in bright colors, like silver, blue, pink, and yellow, just like the iMac.

What makes it the real deal is, of course, its price that both Kuo and Gurman reported to be less than the $999 (or P65,000) MacBook Air. So if you’ve been wanting to upgrade your daily workhorse, watch out for the device’s expected roll out in early 2026.

iPhone 18 family without the iPhone 18

In case you still didn’t know, Apple is rumored to pull off a twist in the launch of its iPhone 18 series this year. Instead of unveiling its standard and high-end models all at the same time, reports from publications like MacRumors, CNET, and Forbes suggest that the tech giant is unveiling only the iPhone 18 Pro and and Air models this year, while the standard iPhone 18 will not come until 2027.

While surprising, the move actually makes sense. It is largely linked to Apple’s expanding iPhone lineup that, if unveiled all in one go, would create internal competition.

Expected to launch during Apple’s major event typically held in September, the iPhone 18 Pro models are rumored to be powered by an advanced A20 Pro chip with the same 12GB RAM as the iPhone 17 Pro models, a new saber chamber cooling system, a frosted Ceramic Shield back, and a more integrated under-display Face ID for a true full-screen look. Look out for more eye-catching colors, such as purple, Wine Red, and Coffee Brown, too.

Entry-level iPhone 17e

Apart from the iPhone 18’s high-end models, Apple will be releasing the iPhone 17e in the first half of 2026, according to Kuo and Gurman. The device will be a successor to the iPhone 16e, as another installment in Apple’s yearly update of its entry-level and affordable iPhone.

Gurman reported that the iPhone 17e will look similar to iPhone 16e, but sport a more powerful A19 processor that matches the rest of the iPhone 17 line. Apart from that, expect the iPhone 17e to feature an enhanced enhanced camera system with 48MP main sensors and 18MP Center Stage front camera, and a brighter, smoother ProMotion 120Hz display. It will also run a refined iOS 26 software for a more intuitive experience.

The first Apple Home Hub

Apple has been positioning itself as a premium lifestyle brand more than just a tech company for quite a long time now. In 2026, the tech giant is once again proving that it can be that and more, with the rumored launch of its first home hub or “command center.”

According to Mac Rumors, it’s a centralized device that has its own operating system that enables smart house owners to control smart home products, listen to music, make video calls, know the weather, search things up with ‌Siri‌, display photos, make notes, view calendar events, and more with just voice commands.

Apple is rumored to be coming up with two designs for this device. The first one is a 7-inch tablet with an all-display design like the iPad. It is designed to be mounted on a wall, while the second version has a speaker base and can be placed on a desktop or countertop.

The tech giant is predicted to launch its first home hub in March or April 2026, with a price around $350 (P21,000).
