Each of the 50 stunning looks proves how style and comfort can go hand in hand.
While other luxury fashion houses challenge traditional expressions of femininity, Chloé embraces—and seems to even revel in it. This is in full display in its winter 2025 collection, revealed yesterday at the Paris Fashion week.
Now in her third collection for the French luxury fashion house, Chemena Kamali continues to do what Chloé does best: honor women. And the German fashion designer seemed to have mastered the formula, creating pieces women would not only covet but also comfortably wear.
Sleek and soothing. These were the first words that came to mind while watching the show. Devoid of gimmickry and shocking reveals, unlike most runways, Chloé’s winter 2025 launch felt like springtime breeze—and it looked like it, too. Billowy, flowy, and silky pieces dominated. Pastel hues abound. Slip dresses, ruffled blouses, dainty ballet flats added a tinge of romance. Pieces alternated between boho chic and Victorian-style elegant. Everything was easy on the eyes.

If anything, Kamali’s latest collection for Chloé shows us that luxury can coexist with familiarity, elegance with comfort. What the show lacked in shock value it more than made up for in its profound understanding of what women want: chic paired with comfort, style with ease.
True enough, speaking backstage after the show and as reported on The Guardian, the 44-year-old mother-of-two said she wanted to help women avoid “overthinking how they get dressed.” She also shared a rather inconvenient truth: As a woman ages her wardrobe changes. “Women are not always the same,” Kemani enthused. “We have shifting moods, and feelings and clothes need to reflect that”.
And this perspective has been shaped by the very atelier she works for. Chloé’s beginnings could be traced back to 1952 when founder, the French designer Gaby Aghion, wanted to create clothes for women that are easy to wear. Since then, and under the creative direction of esteemed designers such as Phoebe Philo, Clare Waight Keller, Gabriela Hearst, and now Kamali, Chloé has formed a brand identity centered around what women would want to wear—comfortable, regardless of their season in life.

“As I started working on this collection, I felt that moving forward is just as important as honoring the past,” Kamali said, as quoted in a report by The Associated Press. “It is about continuing to explore, to redefine and to evolve the Chloé woman’s state of mind.”
“She embodies complexity and is not defined by a single identity,” she said. “She is multifaceted, emotionally charged, and rich with nuance.”
Kemani’s stunning 50-piece winter 2025 collection proved once again that only a woman can understand women best. We can only expect for her creations for Chloé to continue blazing the way for women’s fashion, guided by the atelier’s philosophy that style and comfort can go hand in hand.
