Baker J opens flagship branch in BGC

With its fourth branch, the Parisian-style bistro brings its expertise in French cuisine to the bustling city.

Baker J continues to expand its presence in the country with the opening of its fourth branch at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, offering an authentic taste of Paris to urban residents and catering to patrons who appreciate fine pastries and coffee.

Founded in 2020, Baker J Two Parkade BGC follows the launch of the café at Quest Hotel Tagaytay, where Chroma Hospitality introduced French flavors to the south. As with the other branches (Filinvest City and Clark), Baker J sources its ingredients locally and incorporates French culinary techniques by executive chef Nicolas Pasdeloup.

Guests may also enjoy meals using local ingredients, cooked via French culinary techniques.

Open from Mondays to Sundays, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Baker J is set to offer its signature croissants, fragrant coffee, and other French pastries and dishes. Its stylish and intimate ambiance is designed to embody Parisian cafés.

Baker J is optimistic that its best-sellers across other branches—the kouignn amann, pain au chocolat, and croissant, among others—will also be a hit in BGC. Moreover, they are eager to showcase their selection of meals to a wider audience.

“What I’d like to highlight is that, aside from pastries, we have so many other meals to offer. One item I’m quite proud of is the croque monsieur (a hot sandwich made with ham and cheese)” says Kirk Llamas, Corporate Executive for Business and Project Development.

“With Baker J, we really want a concept where we can offer authentic and quality French food, but at an affordable price.”

The interiors evoke a Parisian charm.
