The LV Gyoza Pouch and Lobster Bag are for those with a playful sense of style—especially the cheeky ones!—looking to add a fresh, flavorful twist to their wardrobe.
Louis Vuitton is serving up some lip-smacking allure with food-inspired pieces set to land in every posh fashionista’s closet, if not their plates. We’re not just talking about the fashion house’s now-viral Lobster Bag. There’s also the gyoza-inspired bag charm and pouch that has been drawing attention from hungry fashionistas, foodies, and fans of cute culture for its hot-off-the-pan quirkiness.
The new Gyoza bag charm and pendant bag are delectable statement pieces the maison cooked up under the artistic direction of Pharrell Williams and Japanese designer Nigo. It is a playful tribute to the beloved dumpling and was unveiled at the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week, along with the rest of the collection’s Japan-inspired pieces.

Crafted from creamy leather with a subtly embossed monogram, these quirky accessories are best paired with a roomy Speedy, OnTheGo, and Babylone, or any slightly bigger leather clutch. Blending quality craftsmanship with fun, the Gyoza bag charm and pouch are must-haves for anyone looking to add fresh flavor to their wardrobe.

It started gaining buzz last week, with Facebook and Instagram users dropping comments like, “It’s cute,” “The Asian in me wants this,” and “I can’t lie, I actually like this,” and more. But if the collection doesn’t spark a conversation, it is sure to motivate you to find inspiration in the most ordinary things.
For this collection, Williams and Nigo drew inspiration from their last trip to Japan and decided to immortalize that experience and their two-decade-long friendship as luxury fashion design. Besides the Gyoza bag charm and purse, Louis Vuitton’s FW2025 capsule features pieces that combine classic and cool, such as the camos and bags jazzed up with a cherry blossom motif, as well as a baseball jacket with “Vuitton” rendered in Japanese syllabaries.

Besides the Gyoza-inspired accessories, among the most talked-about pieces in the collection is the LV Lobster Bag. It features the beloved Louis Vuitton monogram motif in Vachetta leather, fashioned to the form of a crayfish, complete with claws, antennae, and legs.
Its striking surrealist design is not the only one that got people talking, though. The show-stopping clutch is also rumored to come with an $18,000 price tag, or approximately P1.04 million.

And it’s not the only lobster-themed piece in the collection that pinched the hearts of Louis Vuitton fans during the show. There are also bag charms in the shape of the lobster’s body and claws that spiced up Keepalls, totes, and miniature trunks.

The Louis Vuitton FW2025 collection is yet another striking collaboration between Williams and Nigo, whose partnership goes back to 2003 when they co-founded the streetwear brand Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. They also collaborated on their first Louis Vuitton project, the Millionaires 1.0 sunglasses, the following year.
Nigo has been the artistic director of Kenzo, which is also owned by LVMH, since 2021. Meanwhile, Williams took the same post for Louis Vuitton in 2023. Since then, the American musician and fashion designer has been dropping hit after hit, bringing playful elegance to the brand’s classic staples.

One of the highlights is 2023’s Millionaire Speedy, where Williams reimagined LV’s hero piece with bright yellow crocodile leather and a diamond-encrusted “LV” pendant. The following year, Williams teamed up with rapper Tyler, the Creator for the maison’s Spring 2024 men’s collection. The striking collection featured fuzzy grass-printed fleece jackets, pastel yellow buckle coats, monogram headgear and pilot goggles, as well as waffle-shaped pouches, among many other conversation starters.
Most recently, Williams worked with Takashi Murakami to bring back the Murakami x Louis Vuitton collection that revolutionized the brand twenty years ago.
