Refined styling and longer driving range highlight Audi’s new electric SUV.
Audi Philippines, the country’s leader in 100% electric vehicles, continues the e-tron’s success story with the introduction of the new Audi Q8 e-tron. The new 100% electric SUV forms part of Audi’s largest model offensive in its history. It serves as the flagship model among Audi SUVs and crossovers as it further evolves the e-tron, which has been setting standards in the 100% electric luxury SUV class since its debut in the global market.
Highlights of the new Audi Q8 e-tron include an optimized drive concept, improved aerodynamics, and higher charging performance and battery capacity that increase driving range. Significant updates lend the new SUV flagship a fresher appearance.
The new Audi Q8 e-tron comes in SUV form, and as a sportsback that combines the spaciousness of an SUV with the elegant lines of a large coupe. In whichever configuration, the new Audi Q8 e-tron’s long wheelbase offers ample space for five passengers, and allows plenty of legroom even for those seating in the back. The vehicle’s total luggage capacity is also generous, thanks to huge compartments in the rear, as well as under the hood in front.
Two models are available in SUV configuration. The Q8 e-tron 55 produces 408 hp and 664 Nm of torque. Depending on weather, road conditions, terrain and driving styles, the model can travel up to 582 km when fully charged. The Q8 e-tron 50 outputs 335 hp and 664 Nm, and has a driving range of up to 491 km when fully charged.
The new Audi Q8 e-tron Sportback has the same power and torque ratings as the Q8 e-tron SUV, but its driving range is longer. Thanks to a more aerodynamic coupe silhouette at the rear, the model can travel up to 600 km when fully charged.
All the three new Audi Q8 e-tron models have two electric motors powering their front and rear axles, creating Audi’s legendary quattro all-wheel drive system in electric form. The top speed for the three models is 200 km/h.
