Photography, art & drag: Chroma Hospitality gets behind Pride Month across its hotels and resorts

‘Happy to be’ is a campaign that promotes equality, inclusivity, acceptance, and support for the SOGIE bill.

Chroma Hospitality recently kicked off a series of events and exhibitions in celebration of Pride Month in June across all its properties: Crimson Alabang, Crimson Boracay, Quest Plus Clark, Quest Cebu, Quest Tagaytay and Timberland Highlands Resort.

These initiatives aim to promote equality, inclusivity, acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community in the Philippines, and to encourage support for the SOGIE (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression) bill.

Chroma’s “Happy to be” Pride Month celebrations started at Crimson Alabang with “Humanizing SOGIE,” a photography and painting exhibit to raise awareness about the importance of legal protection and the rights of individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Organized in collaboration with LGBTQ+ advocate QueenMelo Esguerra, the exhibit is a thought-provoking and visually captivating experience.

For the whole month of June, Café Eight at Crimson Alabang features a dinner buffet and drag show every Friday and Saturday. From a mouthwatering selection of international dishes to awe-inspiring drag performances, the restaurant will transform into a colorful space where laughter, applause, and sheer joy fill the air.

On June 2, Quest Plus Clark and Quest Cebu opened their own exhibits to foster understanding and acceptance of diverse identities and serve as a reminder of the ongoing need for social progress and equality.
