LIST: Where to get mooncakes in the metro for Mid-Autumn Festival 2026

From traditional salted egg yolk to ube, coffee, and spicy beef, these are the mooncake collections worth checking out this year.

Mid-Autumn Festival falls on September 25 this year, which means mooncake season is officially here.

Metro Manila’s 2026 selection covers every kind of buyer: the traditionalist, the adventurous eater, the corporate gift-giver, and the person who only wants one mooncake with afternoon coffee. Here are 11 places taking orders this year.

Grand Hyatt Manila

Grand Hyatt Manila has baked mooncakes in White Lotus with Salted Egg Yolk, Red Bean, Black Sesame, and Ube. Its snow-skin selection comes in Coffee, Pandan and Coconut, Ube, and Mango.

One piece costs P558, while boxes of four and six are at P3,388 and P4,588. Sets with wine or liquor are also available. Order until September 25 and pick up from Florentine starting August 25. Orders of at least 10 boxes get up to 25 percent off.

Shangri-La Hotels in Metro Manila

Makati Shangri-La, Shangri-La The Fort, and Edsa Shangri-La are all joining this year’s mooncake season, so you have options whether you are in Makati, BGC, or Ortigas.

Makati Shangri-La has the most extensive collection. Flavors include White Coffee, Double Egg Yolk with White Lotus, Double Egg Yolk with Red Bean, Traditional Mixed Nuts, and Double Egg Yolk with Pandan. Individual mooncakes start at P588, while gift boxes start at P1,988.

If a box feels too simple, its hampers come with extras such as mini mooncakes, pastries, walnut cookies, Auro chocolate, Chinese tea, XO sauce, and wine. Prices range from P4,888 to P8,888. Find the collection at the Shang Palace booth from July 10 to September 25. Pickup and delivery begin August 15, with orders required at least three days ahead.

Shangri-La The Fort has boxes of two, four, and six, with prices starting at P1,988. A jewelry box and a larger festive hamper are also available for more elaborate gifting. Orders may be placed through the Canton Road booth in the hotel lobby until September 25.

Conrad Manila

Conrad Manila’s Moonlit Harmony collection brings together familiar mooncake favorites and a few flavors you do not see every season.

The sky-blue gift box contains four assorted mooncakes chosen from Traditional White Lotus with Single Yolk, XO Paste with Single Yolk, Red Bean Paste with Single Yolk, Jackfruit Paste with Mixed Nuts, and Custard Coconut. The jackfruit and coconut options should appeal to anyone looking for something a little more familiar to the Filipino palate.

Lung Hin at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila

Lung Hin keeps its lineup compact with White Lotus with Salted Egg Yolk, Red Bean with Salted Egg Yolk, Ube with Salted Egg Yolk, and Mixed Nuts.

One mooncake costs P688. A box of four is P3,188, while six cost P4,688. The red-and-gold handbag-style box is already gift-ready. Preorder until September 25 through Lung Hin or call 7720-7777.

Happy 8 at Newport World Resorts

Happy 8 has the most affordable at P240 per mooncake. Flavors include Dubai Pistachio, Chocolate Almond, Ube Coconut, Red Bean with Salted Egg Yolk, White Lotus with Salted Egg Yolk, and Mixed Nut Paste with Salted Egg Yolk.

Hilton Manila

Hua Yuan at Hilton Manila has the widest selection, including traditional baked, boutique, snow-skin, and Shanghainese mooncakes. Expect everything from White Lotus and Five Nuts to Peach Oolong, Chinese Bacon, Matcha with Salted Egg, and Pork Meatballs. The collection comes in reusable woven bags handmade by Filipino artisans from R2R.

Three mooncakes cost P2,988, while six cost P4,588. The Shanghainese box of six is P988. Order until September 30 through 0917-851-4044.

Hotel Okura Manila

Hotel Okura’s Akizuki box contains Ube, Red Bean, White Lotus, and Black Sesame mooncakes. The four-piece set is wrapped in red furoshiki and costs P4,888.

Man Ho’s Moonfest collection comes in Ruby Red Lotus, Imperial White Lotus, Woodland Mixed Nuts, and Spicy Beef. The savory beef flavor is an easy pick for the relative who always complains that dessert is too sweet.

Sheraton Manila keeps things traditional with White Lotus Paste with Yolk, Red Lotus Paste with Yolk, and Woodland Mixed Nuts.

Raffles Makati welcomes the season with four handcrafted flavors: Black Sesame, Lotus with Nuts and Berries, Ube Mango, and Matcha Pandan with Pistachio. The collection mixes familiar favorites with playful, locally inspired combinations. Pick one for yourself or bring home the complete set to share.

For the best value, start with Happy 8 or buy an individual mooncake from The Manila Hotel. Hilton Manila has the most flavors, while Lung Hin and Sheraton are safer choices for traditionalists. Hotel Okura, Raffles, and The Peninsula make particularly polished gifts. Just do not wait until September 25 to decide. The best mooncake boxes tend to disappear before the full moon shows up.
