At the event held last May 8, The POST and other members of the press were there to experience the resort’s vision come to life through its immersive setups, floral arrangements, and exquisite culinary tastings.
Right from the get-go, Crimson Mactan already ticks one of the priorities on a couple’s wedding planning list: accessibility. The property is just 30 minutes away from Mactan Cebu International Airport, making it easy for guests to check in upon arrival on the island.

The resort’s deluxe rooms became our home during our 3-day-2-night stay. It provided us with tranquility and comfort, especially after a long day, with its king-sized bed furnished with plush white linens. Its full marble bathroom comes complete with soaking tubs, adding to our luxurious experience at the resort.

On top of accessibility and posh accommodations, Crimson Mactan offers soon-to-be-married couples four outdoor venues for their dream day. Each offers a unique and romantic ambience, from scenic beachfront ceremonies to cozy garden settings and expansive receptions under the stars.
If you’re eyeing to celebrate with a beach wedding, you can opt for the biggest and most scenic outdoor area at the resort, which is the beachfront. Here, you’ll get to walk down a sandy aisle lined with flower arrangements and the Visayan Sea’s turquoise waters as the backdrop. The beachfront seamlessly combines the wedding ceremony and reception in one location, with guests—a maximum of 200 people—just having to take a quick stroll to the dining area after the wedding ceremony.

Let’s say you have a smaller guest list of around 50 people. You and your beau can tie the knot instead at the Azure Beach Club, which offers the same scenic view of the sea, sand, and sky. For the setup presented to us during Crimson Mactan’s bridal showcase, floral stylists First of April created an asymmetrical arch with vibrant greens and oranges.
Want a more intimate affair? Crimson Mactan offers the Azure Secret Garden and the Kalma Garden that both transform into a whimsical reception setting, complete rustic tables and bright summer florals, on your big day. The Kalma Garden can also serve as a chic pre-reception cocktail venue for when you want to offer guests some refreshments and set the tone for your main event.
Destination weddings don’t have to break the bank

Both packages also cover a four-hour transportation use within Cebu, three canapés for guests, and the use of Casita Villa and Deluxe Garden Room for the crew.
