Here’s everything Filipino ARMY needs to know ahead of the supergroup’s newly announced Tuesday, March 16, 2027 show.
The BTS ticketing frenzy in the Philippines isn’t over just yet.
After an overwhelming response that saw tickets for the first two concerts at Philippine Arena in Bulacan quickly snapped up, global K-pop powerhouse BTS has officially added a third Philippine show for its highly anticipated Arirang World Tour, giving thousands of Filipino ARMY another shot at seeing the seven-member group reunite on stage.
Live Nation Philippines announced on Wednesday that the newly added concert date will take place on March 16, 2027, at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan, joining the previously announced March 13 and 14 performances.
The additional date comes after demand far exceeded expectations, with fans flooding online queues and exhausting available seats for the first two nights. For many who failed to secure tickets during the initial sale, the announcement was met with relief—and another chance to battle what has become one of the country’s biggest ticketing wars in recent memory.
The Bulacan stop is part of BTS’ Arirang World Tour, which supports the group’s first full-length album in nearly four years following the members’ military service. It also marks BTS’ first full-group concert in the Philippines in almost a decade since bringing the WINGS Tour to Manila in 2017.
While member J-Hope returned to Manila in 2025 for his solo Hope on the Stage concerts, this will be the first time all seven members perform together before Filipino fans since completing their mandatory enlistment.
The Philippine leg is also expected to conclude the Asian run of the Arirang World Tour, making the Bulacan concerts among the most anticipated K-pop events in Southeast Asia.
Ticket prices for the new March 16 show
Fans hoping to secure seats for the newly added concert can expect the same ticket tiers as the original Bulacan dates:
- VIP Soundcheck (Standing) – ₱25,000
- Floor Standing – ₱20,000
- Bleachers 1 – ₱13,500
- Bleachers 2 – ₱7,500
According to Live Nation Philippines, tickets are sold exclusively through SM Ticketmaster.
The organizer also reminded fans that purchased tickets cannot be used for commercial purposes, including contests, raffles, giveaways, or promotional activities. Tickets found to have violated these conditions may be cancelled without refund, with holders refused entry to the venue.
Live Nation likewise emphasized that ticket buyers are responsible for keeping their tickets secure, as the organizer will not be liable if they fall into the hands of unauthorized individuals.
Another ticketing war awaits Filipino ARMY
The addition of a third concert underscores just how massive BTS’ fanbase remains in the Philippines.
For longtime ARMY, securing tickets has become an event of its own—one requiring preparation, patience, and a considerable amount of luck.
Unlike previous concert eras where fans could simply visit a ticketing website and purchase seats, today’s ticketing landscape involves waiting rooms, membership verification, virtual queues, multiple presale windows, and high online traffic that can leave thousands waiting for hours.
The excitement surrounding BTS’ return has also reignited discussions online about just how competitive K-pop ticketing has become, particularly for groups with devoted international fanbases.
For many fans, the race begins long before the official sale starts—with ARMY Membership registration, SM Ticketmaster account preparation, payment methods, and internet stability all potentially affecting their chances of success.
Scalpers spark renewed calls for anti-ticket scalping law
The unprecedented demand has also revived concerns over ticket scalping.
Shortly after the initial Bulacan shows sold out, numerous listings surfaced on social media and online marketplaces offering BTS tickets at significantly inflated prices. Some reportedly reached ₱30,000 to ₱90,000, depending on the section and seat location.
The surge prompted Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan to once again push for the immediate passage of the proposed Anti-Ticket Scalping Act, saying opportunistic resellers were exploiting the excitement of fans who had waited nearly a decade for BTS’ return.
According to Pangilinan, the proposed measure will explicitly prohibit ticket scalping while strengthening consumer protection against abusive resale practices in the digital marketplace.
“Based on reports reaching our office, BTS fans have been waiting for almost a decade for a concert to be held here again. It is not right for scalpers to exploit the fans’ excitement and anticipation,” the senator said.
Live Nation has also warned fans against purchasing tickets through unofficial resellers or so-called ticket assistance services, stressing that it cannot verify the authenticity of tickets purchased outside authorized channels.
How to improve your chances of getting BTS tickets
While there’s no guaranteed formula for beating the queue, Live Nation Philippines has shared several recommendations that could help make the purchasing process smoother.
Sign in before ticketing begins
Fans are encouraged to log in to their SM Ticketmaster accounts well before ticket sales open. Those without an account should create one in advance rather than during the sale.
Checking that personal information—including email address and account details—is updated can also help avoid delays.
Join the waiting room early
The waiting room opens 30 minutes before ticket selling begins.
Once the sale officially starts, fans will automatically be assigned a queue number.
Use only one device
Live Nation advises against opening multiple browsers, tabs, or devices while queueing, as doing so may trigger system errors or cause users to be flagged as bots.
Don’t refresh the page
Refreshing while waiting may remove users from the queue entirely.
Instead, fans should allow the queue page to update automatically.
Keep your payment method ready
Accepted payment methods include:
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
- GCash
- Maya
- GrabPay
The payment account does not have to match the name registered on the buyer’s SM Ticketmaster account.
Prepare your ARMY Membership Number
For eligible presale buyers, the GLOBAL ARMY Membership Number (beginning with “BA” followed by nine digits) is required to unlock access during checkout.
Fans can retrieve this number through the Weverse app by opening BTS Weverse, tapping Membership, selecting View Membership Details, and locating the membership card.
Only GLOBAL Membership holders who registered before the announced deadline are eligible for the membership presale.
Those who miss the presale can still participate during the general onsale.
Important reminders after purchasing tickets
Live Nation also reminded successful buyers that:
- Tickets will be mobile-only.
- Mobile tickets will appear in SM Ticketmaster accounts approximately one week before the concert.
- Buyers will initially receive only a booking confirmation email.
- Tickets will not be emailed separately.
- Buyers should check their spam or junk folders if confirmation emails do not immediately appear.
For entry, the original ticket purchaser must present the tickets directly from their SM Ticketmaster account.
Screenshots or screen recordings of tickets will not be accepted at the venue.
Likewise, fans receiving tickets as gifts must enter the venue together with the original purchaser, as ticket ownership remains tied to the buyer’s account.
Most importantly, Live Nation strongly discourages buying tickets from unofficial resale platforms or ticket assistance services, warning that counterfeit or invalid tickets may result in denied entry with no refund.
With a third Bulacan show now officially on the calendar, thousands of Filipino ARMY have been handed one more opportunity to witness BTS’ long-awaited return. But if the demand for the first two concerts is any indication, fans hoping to secure seats should expect another intense race once ticket sales begin.
