Jardin du Soleil includes feminine dresses, skirts, and matching separates for weddings, dinners, and everyday plans.
The collection draws from two of Co’s longtime influences—British afternoon tea and the colors of the tropics. It also reflects what Atelier Debbie Co has been known for over the past 21 years: romantic designs, flattering silhouettes, and detailed craftsmanship.
“We want to encourage women to embrace beauty in everyday life,” Co said at the collection’s launch. “Not just to save pieces for the grander moments, but also for the quieter moments.”

British-inspired dresses with a tropical feel
Co developed an appreciation for British fashion while studying at Central Saint Martins in London. For Jardin du Soleil, she looked to traditional tea dresses and updated them for women living in the tropics. The collection features fitted bodices, corsetry, puff sleeves, pleats, and full skirts. Some pieces look like mini ball gowns, while others come in long, flowy silhouettes. The dresses are feminine and polished but still easy to wear. They can work for weddings, birthdays, formal dinners, and other events.
“It’s always important to make sure that the silhouettes are flattering to women,” she said. “You will always see our brand aesthetic in the pieces. They’re feminine, timeless, romantic, and elegant.”
Florals, beadwork, and bright colors
Flowers and leaves appear throughout Jardin du Soleil. Some pieces feature printed hibiscus, palm leaves, and tropical blooms. Others have beading, embroidery, lace, sequins, and floral appliqués. The collection comes in coral, mango, yellow, green, and ivory. These colors appear across printed day dresses, detailed tops, full skirts, and evening pieces.
There is also a mix of fitted and flowy designs. Women can choose from structured mini dresses, midi dresses with fuller skirts, and softer styles with more movement.
The pieces can be worn separately, too
Not everything in the collection has to be saved for a formal event. Several pieces were designed as coordinates, allowing the tops and skirts to be worn together or styled separately. Co suggested pairing one of the tops with white wide-leg trousers for lunch with friends. A detailed skirt can also be worn with a simple top for dinner or a family gathering.
“We encourage dressing as an experience rather than just for a celebration,” Co said.
Atelier Debbie Co has grown with its clients
Atelier Debbie Co is celebrating its 21st year, and some of its clients have been with the brand since childhood. Co shared that mothers and grandmothers once brought young girls to the atelier to have dresses made. Those girls later returned for their prom dresses and other important occasions. Some now visit with their partners or bring their own children.
“We’ve been dressing them from when they were five years old until now,” Co said. “It’s really a privilege to be part of their milestones.” With Jardin du Soleil, Co continues creating clothes for those occasions, including the smaller ones that happen in between.
