Who wore that best?
The 2025 BAFTAs brought together some of the biggest names in film and television at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Political thriller Conclave won best picture, alongside best British film, editing, and adapted screenplay. The Brutalist also had a strong night, winning best director for Brady Corbet, best lead actor for Adrien Brody, cinematography, and original score. Mikey Madison’s best actress win for Anora was an unexpected moment, as she triumphed over seasoned performers. Zoe Saldaña won best supporting actress for Emilia Pérez, while Kieran Culkin took best supporting actor for A Real Pain.

On the fashion front, the red carpet showcased bold and classic choices, this year did not disappoint. Below are our favorite looks from the night:
Cynthia Erivo arrived in a white cotton lace bustier gown with a sculptural breastplate.
Demi Moore, a longtime red carpet favorite, shimmered in Alexander McQueen with intricate beading reminiscent of stained glass.
Selena Gomez went full drama in Schiaparelli Couture, a sleeveless silver gown dripping in sequins, crystals, and rhinestones.
Ariana Grande served contrast in a custom Louis Vuitton look, black velvet plunging top, peach silk taffeta skirt, exaggerated volume. The mix of textures and colors worked.

Meghann Fahy played up sophistication in a black velvet one-shoulder gown with a bow detail.
Mikey Madison, fresh off her major win, opted for a strapless cream gown, minimal but elevated with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and a scarf draped over her arms.
Monica Barbaro sparkled in a Giorgio Armani Privé halter dress fully encrusted in beadwork.
Saoirse Ronan’s off-white Louis Vuitton satin dress featured a sculptural overlay. Clean but striking.
Zoe Saldaña went sheer but structured in a black gown with a dramatic tulle neckline.

Anna Kendrick channeled femme fatale in a plunging black sequin dress with a satin bow and tulle train.
For the men, Colman Domingo made a statement with a printed shirt and leather coat from Versace.
Timothée Chalamet dialed it back in an all-black Bottega Veneta look, a departure from his usual bold choices.
Joe Alwyn leaned into monochrome in a brown suit with a coordinating shirt and tie, punctuated by a red floral Elsa Perretti brooch.

Beyond the fashion, the evening celebrated major films like Wicked, Emilia Pérez, and Anora, as well as talented individuals from across the industry. With a mix of veteran actors and rising stars, the BAFTAs honored the best in cinema while also recognizing those who have shaped the industry. Warwick Davis received the BAFTA Fellowship for his decades-long contributions to film and advocacy for inclusivity.
