Planning a chill weekend? This cafe in Salcedo offers brunch, brews, and blooms

Just know you might end up leaving with coffee in one hand and a bouquet in the other.

Vine Café Lounge reopened last May 8 inside Boxed Blossoms in Leviste Street, Salcedo Village. Along with its usual menu, the café introduced a few new things that make it more than just a coffee stop.

One of the biggest additions is the Bouquet & Brew Workshop, which was launched on May 10. It’s a weekend activity that lets customers make their own floral arrangements while having coffee. No reservations are needed, and you don’t have to be good at flower arranging. The point is just to enjoy doing something with your hands in a setting that doesn’t feel rushed.

To go with that, the cafe also introduced Bask in Bloom Brunch, a weekend offer that runs every Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 2PM. It’s a straight deal, just order any brunch main, and you get a complimentary floral cocktail. On weekdays, there’s a another offer called the Coffee & Camellias Weekday Treat. If you buy a specialty coffee, you get 10% off a petite floral arrangement.

Vine Café Lounge also used the reopening to roll out a new coffee menu. It includes stronger brews and new specialty options, but everything still leans into the same slow, made-to-order approach the café has always had. Another new item is the Afternoon Tea Set, which is available for P2,500 for a limited time. It includes sweet and savory delights and is meant to be shared or enjoyed slowly.

The food menu covers both basics and treats. They serve classic Filipino breakfasts that are familiar and filling, and a dessert selection that includes éclairs, macarons, and their crowd-favorite truffle matcha popcorn.

So if you’re looking for something to do this weekend that doesn’t involve a mall or a screen, Vine Café Lounge is worth a stop. Just know you might end up leaving with coffee in one hand and a bouquet in the other.
