The popular art expo’s 12th edition is set to be its biggest yet—and this time in a new location at Ayala Triangle Gardens.
Filipino art lovers should better prepare for a spectacle of wonders next month, as Art Fair Philippines is set to return bigger than ever for its 12th edition this year.
Held on National Arts Month every February, Art Fair Philippines is one of the most anticipated events for art enthusiasts in the country and beyond. It features an expansive selection of commissioned works, gallery exhibits, film screenings, and art talks from artists not only in the Philippines but also in Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
This year’s edition is taking place from Feb. 21 to 23 and is set to be the biggest one by far, with the inclusion of Spain and Austria in the list of exhibitors. Along with that is Art Fair 2025’s bold move to step out from its usual site at The Link Carpark in Makati to the wider Ayala Triangle, at the center of the city’s business district.
The Link has been dubbed the home of Art Fair since the expo was launched by Tricki Colayco-Lopa, Lisa Ongpin Periquet, and Geraldine “Dindin” Araneta in 2013. For this year, however, art lovers can look forward to a more expansive and immersive iteration of the fair, spanning the outdoor grounds, tents, and building rooms across the 2-hectare urban park.

“I think it will be fun for people to navigate a new space which is completely different. It’s not just one area, you have to walk from one end of the park to the other,” Ongpin-Periquet told GMA News Online. Araneta added, “And, of course, we also wanted to find a venue that I guess, can also transform the experience of being in an art fair.”
Here’s what to look out for in Art Fair Philippines 2025:
3 days of art and creativity
Art Fair Philippines 2025 will feature 48 exhibitors from across the Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Spain, and Austria. Same as in recent years, visitors have all three days of the fair to explore its seven sections: Projects, Exhibitors, Digital, Photography, Film, Residencies, Talks, and Tours.
These sections, located in Ayala Towers 1 and 2, showcase a variety of art forms—from painting and sculptures to photography, film, and digital media. Projects remain the most significant section, and will comprise works from artists Manny Garibay, Manuel Ocampo, Goldie Poblador, Ryan Rubio, and Jezzel Wee.

Garibay’s exhibit, titled “Dambana: A Critical Reflection on Belief, Power and Memory,” centers on the sacredness of culture, belief, power, memory, history, and politics. Meanwhile, Ocampo will feature his bold and mixed media designs in an exhibit called “Ideological mash-up/remix.”
Stone sculptures are the core of Rubio’s exhibit titled “The pain passes… the beauty remains,” which he will present along with some highly textured paintings. At the same time, Wee will introduce her own rendition of the Japanese Daruma Doll in an exhibit called “Pagbulong.”

More immersive experiences
This year, the fair continues to tap into all of our senses, by giving a stage for digital works to shine for the third time in a row. Located at the park’s amphitheater, the fair’s Digital section will be headlined by Filipino-American artist Chia Amazola, with her exhibit “Kakakompyuter Mo Yan!” First presented at the Demo Festival in New York last June, the karaoke-style exhibit features a collection of net art, software, games, and literature by over 20 Filipino artists, tackling the digital era’s negative effects on a Third World nation.

Meanwhile, those who love photography can explore Fotomoto PH’s “Kuha” exhibit featuring works from photographers, curators, and writers across Manila. Film aficionados are also encouraged to head to The Executive Centre in Ayala Triangle 2 to watch films such as Jaime Pacena II’s Kono Basho and Dre Milo’s The F.A.T. Boys!! Episode 1: Each One Teach One.
All set to go on this expansive art adventure this February? You can purchase your tickets early on the Art Fair website for P750. Access for students with IDs, senior citizens, and PWDs comes with a fee of P500, while Makati students and teachers with valid ID can enter the fair for a fee of P300. These concession tickets can only be purchased at the venue on the day of the event itself.
Art Fair Philippines 2025 will be held from Feb. 21 to 23 at Ayala Triangle Gardens, Paseo De Roxas Street corner Makati Avenue, Makati.
