Hot off his Golden Globe-winning performance in The Bear, Jeremy Allen White takes on the role of Bruce Springsteen in Deliver Me from Nowhere, tracing the origins of Nebraska, one of Springsteen’s most emotionally raw albums. Michael Jackson’s story will come to life in Michael, with Jaafar Jackson stepping into the role of his legendary uncle. Julia Garner is set to portray Madonna in a biopic that the pop icon herself is directing. Tentatively titled Who’s That Girl, the film will chronicle Madonna’s rise from her beginnings to becoming a music and cultural powerhouse. The film was initially cancelled by the queen herself but was back from the dead when she posted a video of herself on Instagram hinting that she’s back writing the manuscript. Anticipation is already building for Garner’s performance as the Queen of Pop.




Selena Gomez is stepping into the shoes of Linda Ronstadt in a film inspired by Ronstadt’s memoir, Simple Dreams. The movie will explore her pioneering career and personal journey, showcasing her work across multiple musical genres. Gomez has hinted at her excitement for the project, stoking curiosity about how she’ll embody the iconic singer. While the actress said that there is no current update on the project, it wasn’t cancelled but probably just stalled. Still, we’re looking forward to it.

Paul Mescal will portray Paul McCartney in an ambitious four-part biopic series about The Beatles, directed by Sam Mendes. Each installment will focus on a different member of the band, starting with McCartney. The series aims to delve beyond the music, offering a deeply personal look at the lives of one of history’s most legendary bands. Paul Mescal’s involvement in the Beatles project came up unexpectedly during a discussion between Gladiator II director Ridley Scott and Christopher Nolan at the Directors Guild of America. Scott casually revealed, “Paul is actually stacked up, doing the Beatles next.” While Mescal hasn’t officially signed on, reports have circulated that he is indeed connected to the project.


Meanwhile, Tom Holland is exchanging his web shooters as he gears up to play Fred Astaire in a biopic directed by Paul King. With Holland’s dance background, he seems a natural fit for the role. Still, the project has sparked debate, given Astaire’s well-documented reluctance to have his life depicted onscreen. With music producer Linda Perry onboard, the movie promises to capture Joplin’s raw, unfiltered energy, giving viewers an up-close look at her tumultuous life and legacy. During her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actress shared, “I’m really excited, we’ve been working on this for seven years, and she’s just such a groovy chick. She brought so much light to this planet in such a unique way.”
