Victoria Beckham explores the art of minimalist dressing, deconstructed tailoring at Paris Fashion Week

Since showing her first collection to doubtful fashion editors in 2008, Victoria Beckham has come a long way.

As a fashion designer, Victoria Beckham showcased her spring-summer 2025 collection at Paris Fashion Week. The show was more than clothes – it was a family affair at the Chateau de Bagatelle and even dropped a hint of her new fragrance, Rêverie 21:50.

Oak trees and neoclassical architecture set the tone, and soft piano music made it feel like Succession. And even the rain did not dull the event. The whole Beckham brood was there, front row with Sofia Vergara and Vogue’s Anna Wintour.

Beckham has grown since her debut in 2008, when she showed just 10 dresses to New York fashion editors. Style icons including Kate Middleton, Kendall Jenner and Lady Gaga have worn her creations over the years.

It was almost like the collection itself was a celebration of everything Beckham does best. She picked out big, fitted pieces that displayed her knack for mixing feminine elegance with edge. Opening with a resin-dipped chiffon bustier paired with tailored trousers, the vibe was all about playing with delicate details with a sharp, masculine edge.

Throughout the show, Beckham played with the idea of showing just enough skin to keep things interesting but still sophisticated. Sheer tops and bust-dresses, and low-cut trousers featuring small slashes or cutouts, showed some skin in unexpected ways. The tailoring was loosely tailored: jackets without sleeves or trousers with folded waistbands, it was all very modern and effortless.

More casual pieces came from Beckham as well, including a trench coat and wide-leg jeans – still chic for work. A standout was the apple-green draped dress worn by Gigi Hadid.

According to her Instagram post, “The art of dressing begins with the act of dressing — a ritual familiar to every woman regardless of her style.”

This season the brand explores how garments work with the body, capturing the personal yet universal connection between clothing and the wearer.
