Designers Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons focused on the raw, messy beauty of being human.
Prada’s Fall/Winter 2025 menswear show in Milan explored what it means to be human. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons focused on instinct and emotion, creating a collection that felt bold, romantic, and refreshingly honest.

The show was set inside a huge metal structure softened by elegant carpets. Lights shifted into warm reds, blues, and yellows, making the space feel both industrial and intimate. This mix of contrasts set the tone for the collection.

The clothes were full of unexpected pairings. Shearling collars with a rugged, untamed feel sat alongside delicate floral brooches. Cowboy boots stamped with flowers walked the runway, paired with oversized coats left open to reveal bare chests. Fur shirts layered under bomber jackets and pajama-like tops matched with tailored trousers showed a playful, experimental side. Nothing felt overly planned, yet everything worked.

Fur, leather, denim, and plaid clashed in a way that felt raw and exciting. Accessories stood out, from tiny charms hanging on chains to colorful, floral brooches. Jewelry, like basketball earrings, added a fun, unexpected touch.

Despite the boldness, there was softness too. Striped knit tops, floral cowboy boots, and simple jeans gave some looks a youthful, easygoing vibe.

Familiar faces filled the front row. Louis Partridge, Troye Sivan, and Soohyun Kim were just a few of the stars soaking up the show.

Guests received a sleek silver pipe as an invite. But the real takeaway was simple, this collection celebrated what it means to be human. It was raw, real, and a little bit chaotic, just like life.
