Burch assembles a wardrobe where polished tailoring meets cargo pants, and vintage references are treated as materials for reinvention.
For years, fashion has swung between extremes. One season demanded quiet luxury and restraint. Somewhere along the way, getting dressed became an exercise in choosing sides. Tory Burch’s Resort 2027 collection argues that perhaps there are no sides at all.
The collection feels intentionally mismatched yet surprisingly harmonious—as though someone had opened a cherished family wardrobe, borrowed a few heirlooms, thrown in an old military jacket, added unexpected bursts of color, and somehow made everything work.
The result is neither minimalist nor maximalist. It is simply optimistic.

Tory Burch describes the collection as embracing an “everything but the kitchen sink” sensibility—a phrase that perfectly captures its joyful refusal to edit itself. Instead of chasing perfection, Resort 2027 finds charm in unlikely combinations.
Classic shirting appears alongside laminated lace. Utility jackets are softened by romantic florals. Pencil skirts share space with low-slung leather silhouettes finished in high-gloss treatments. Even familiar wardrobe staples acquire unexpected personalities through unusual textures and finishes.
Rather than relying on embellishment alone, much of the excitement comes from the tension between opposites. Refined pieces are intentionally interrupted by rugged details. Crisp tailoring is offset by fabrics that appear worn, brushed, or weathered. The collection never allows elegance to become predictable.

Color has always played a significant role in Tory Burch’s collections, and Resort 2027 approaches it with confidence. Instead of traditional resort pastels, the collection looks toward the spice rack and the garden for inspiration. Saffron, paprika, sumac, lime, and ube appear alongside molten reds and vibrant greens before settling into softer shades of mushroom, khaki, and taupe.
The palette feels rich without becoming overwhelming. It captures the intensity of nature while remaining grounded enough for everyday dressing.
Perhaps most importantly, it reinforces the collection’s central idea: that unexpected combinations often produce the most memorable results.
Among the returning accessories is the Buddy Bag, named after Tory Burch’s father and inspired by a vintage dopp kit. Reimagined for Resort 2027 in patchworked metallic finishes and tiger-striped calf hair, the bag carries a sense of personal history while remaining distinctly contemporary.
Equally meaningful is the continued collaboration with Marasim, a women’s artisan collective whose handwoven raffia and leather totes celebrate traditional craftsmanship through a modern luxury lens. The partnership reflects an ongoing interest in preserving artisanal techniques while bringing them into contemporary wardrobes.

Footwear follows the collection’s philosophy of balancing practicality with surprise. Multi-buckle sandals appear throughout the collection, while rubberized pumps and boots introduce waterproof functionality without sacrificing polish.
Jewelry continues the conversation through resin flowers, stacked cuffs, braided belts, and oversized eyewear inspired by the optimistic glamour of the 1950s.
What ultimately distinguishes Resort 2027 is not any single garment or accessory but the attitude that ties them together.
